Maybe I'm mistaken here, but don't you need a little momentum/speed to go spikes first? I don't think Lee would have been able to do that..I think he did what he could, and he should have been given the base..Oz should have been on the field arguing with the ump instead of chasing after Carlos.

I'm lucky enough to live in the same city as PETA's headquarters AND very near the city that had the McChicken Head. PETA had no involvement in that, it was a real chicken head, and I don't think that would have gone with their "no cruelty to animals" gig. The PETA building has a stocked public lake right next to it, and every year, a radio station around here has a PETA Fishing Tournament.
