With the day off yesterday, the starting pitchers should ok. If we're assuming there's is a doubleheader tomorrow ok Garland last threw last Wednesday and was scheduled to start tomorrow night anyway. Wright threw on Friday. If he starts game 2 on Wednesday that means he's going on four days rest, that shouldn't be a big deal, it's a normal rotation. Scho would go on Thursday, on four days rest as well.

Thanks, lol. I'm in Gettysburg, PA right now unfortunately. I sometimes go to ticketmaster just to get an estimate about how attendance seems, just out of curiousity. Sorry, I overstated when I said "pretty well bought up". I certainly wish I could be there for this series. I'll just be watching it here in PA. I will be going down to Baltimore for 2 or 3 of the 3 Sox games coming up in two weeks, already looking forward to that.

It seems as though it should be a really good crowd tomorrow night. So that's one more reason for the rain to hold off. Just for s***s, I went to ticketbastard and tried getting two tickets under "best available" and it gave me two seats in sec. 528 row 8. That seems to mean that all the club boxes, lower deck, outfield seats, and the new "premium" upper deck seats, are pretty well bought up. Even asking for one ticket would put me in sec. 103 (right-center field). Seems like the combo of Sox playing well, the Yankees in town, and half-price night is all adding up.

I appreciate the sentiment from Mariotti, it's quite a bold statement to say "there is a double standard" and the Ozzie quote is quality. But forgeting to mention the fact that Cubs fans 1. have also gone onto/gotten into fights on the field before as well, and 2. Cubs fans have been partly responsible for the Comiskey Park incidents that have given White Sox fans such negative press, means that Mariotti still is applying his said "double standard".
