I don't know how much interest there is here. I know we got Jason, the Vandy fan (sorry I'm not good with names), and myself, but I figured I'd start a thread for the season. The season finally gets underway on Friday thanks to the new rule. I personally hate it, but I'm sure the Northern schools love it. I liked it much better when we started Feb 1st last year, but I can see where schools don't like that and how it can be unfair. I don't like how we have a conference game on the third weekend and a lot of weeks where we have 2+ games midweek. FSU starts out the season against Duquesne this weekend. I don't know a thing about them, but I can't wait. In a week from Tuesday we play the Phillies which was a lot of fun last year. It should be an interesting season for us. We lost Tony Thomas and Mark Hallberg to the draft on the offensive side. The big loss Bryan Henry. He was the Friday night starter and was good for 7-8 every start. We also lost our #2 starter in Michael Hyde. This years Friday starter will be Elih Villanueva from Miami Dade CC (how we got him, I don't know). He's got a Zambrano like build, but only tops out at 94 with 4 legit pitches and a great curve. I would keep going, but I'm sure no one cares. Hopefully I get some interest here.

Let me preface by saying this is a lot of friend of a friend, but... I used to work with a lady who's daughter goes to NIU. She was in this class with 2 other friends. They usually all go together, but when some run late they don't sit together; the late ones just sit in back. Well, my friends daughter was late for this class along with one of her other friends. Unfortunately, their other friend was on time and sat in the front of class. She was one of the ones shot (who lated died). My friends daughter saw her friend get shot, and if she was on time, she could have been one of the people. It's so scary.

I've heard back from 3 of my friends so far and they're all alright. They said they're just really freaked out. I can't imagine if something like that would happen here. Prayers go out to everyone hurt or affected.

I miss our season tickets I also miss being in Chicago. I'm waiting for Rays tickets to go on sale. I'm going to go to 3 of the 4 games in May down there. I can't wait. If FSU wasn't playing Miami in baseball during the Sox series in April, I'd be all over that one too.

Fsu gets its 3rd commitment today in Jajuan Harley. He's the 32nd ranked JR in the Rivals top 100. He plays S and WR, but I'm sure we'll keep him at S as we need the guys. I wouldn't be surprised if we get another one this weekend.

4 star Willie Downs committed to the Noles today. He is 37 in the rivals top 100 juniors. We should have another top 100 commitment by next week.

That was quick. 2009, top FL prospect Jacobbi McDaniel committed today. He is a 5* and the 5th best player in the country for next year according to rivals.

I'm in for another team besides the keeper league. Zoom knows my experience. I like head to head format. I don't care if I'm in the same league before, but I would ask to be in a league with Zoom, Soxfan1, and other guys that I know are active. I would be a commish if I needed to be.

Haha, Star Jackson hasn't signed his LOI with Satan yet and might be looking at Michigan now. Eh, scratch that...I can't believe they got the number 1 class and why so many people buy into Satans bulls***.

I can't get it to work. I tried doing it by invite and doing it by entering the league info and password. I'll try later, but I just wanted to see if anyone else was having problems. Edit: It worked this time. I just clicked the invite link I got in the e-mail (just to try) and it let me right in. Maybe they were just having problems earlier.

Not pissed, but upset with Julio going to Bama. The coaches thought he was as close to a lock as you can get until last night. Something changed. 4* RB out of Jacksonville. He's 6'0" 210lb but runs a 4.4. Rivals has him as a FB for some reason? The kid has some good wheels though and he kicked ass at the Under Armour game. Used to be high on UF, but that changed during the bowl games. I think Clemson leads, people in Florida think UM leads, and I hope FSU leads. UofI has a better chance than FSU though.
