Congrats to the big hurt. I will always remember watching him play when I was younger and he was in his prime. He will always have a place in my personal baseball hall of fame.

EJ Manuel to FSU Also, to followup on the other story I posted, it looks like Disney is going to face some huge scrutiny on this situation. It seems like everything is pointing to racial profiling, I heard there was even a story on this topic on the Chicago news. I found this excerpt from the Orlando Sentinel interesting (keep in mind of the writer is white).

Sweet another possible black eye for FSU... I guess to be fair though, a lot of major schools were/are recruiting these players. I know some of these players were involved with UofI, UF, Ga Tech, Bama, LSU, Miami, and other big name schools. However, I'm sure this will be spun as anti-fsu as much as it can. With all of that being said though, I hope these kids did not do anything wrong. Everything I've heard about these kids has been positive and I know that some of the families will be suing Disney in the very near future.

Just to give you guys a clue on how solid Pocic is to UofI: he already added class of 2012 Illinois to his facebook, many different Illini players as friends, and groups like Fighting Illini Football: 2008 Big Ten Champs, and Ron Zook Fan Club. I know it's just facebook, but it seems like he is completely solid with the Illini.

It's looking like EJ Manuel to FSU We'll find out Wednesday or Thursday for sure. This is shapping up to be a great class. Nigel Bridham and Vince Williams are working their asses off as being recruiters themselves. Hopefully if we get EJ, Deion Walker will follow.

As a pitcher he throws easy heat into the high 90's with movement. He also has a good feel for his cuve and already an above-average changeup. As a hitter, he is a switch hitter and has solid approach. He is a very fast base runner. He has had some tendinitis issues that make him rated down by us, without he is probably a top 15 pick.
