Everyone knows baseball players and their fans are very superstitious. I have noticed on the board people worry about the banner and i was reading the game thread tonight and see people are changing what they are wearing. I know over the past month I have taken the white sox blanket off my bed, changed my wall paper on my phone away from the sox logo and when the sox win I leave up my "Let's go Sox!" away message until they lose. Also, I think my girl friend is bad luck so if I am talking to her on the phone and the sox give up a hit or a run I hang up on her and tell her not to talk to me til the game is over. I am just wondering if I am crazy for being so superstitious or is everyone else like this. What are you guys doing?

I definitely agree with your assessment of carl but your view on Crede is crazy. He is killing the ball right now. Our losing is not because of crede. It could be, however, because of carl. Please sit him for a couple of days and at least give someone else a shot like Anderson or, gulp, Borchard (Who is hitting 1.000). Lets just see some one other than the old man who can't run and recently has not been hitting.

i got 4 club seats and i just noticed now that they are $55 just like lower level. Is there anything special about club that makes them equal to the lower bowl??

I agree that the games are decided on the field and not by the manager. BUT my biggest beef is with Ozzie's handling of Neal Cotts. HEY OZZIE, HE CAN PITCH MORE THAN 8 PITCHES!!!! I dont understand why ozzie has the longest leash in the world with his starting pitchers but when Cotts is out there (who has an era under 2) he gets pulled right away. It is ozzies responsibilities to put the team in the best position to win and he did not do that tonight.

I have been watching it. It is very enjoyable and it definitely reminds me of 24. Everything that happens is so prefectly coincidental. That adds to the excitement. I am not so sure of the acting of the main character though, he seems like kind of a tool. He is def not jack Bauer.

Well i am glad i watched that on SC. From all of the famous athletes, moments, and places it looks like the Sox dont even exist. Before seeing this segment i never bought the whole bias thing, but not a single mention of the 1st place white sox is unacceptable and total bulls***. What a joke!

I have not actually seen the magazine, but from what i have heard it is the Aug. 3 issue of ESPN, which would mean that it is out now. I have meant to pick up a copy but have not yet, i think i heard this on Reifert's blog. Where ever it was, i remember hearing it was a nice spread with lots of nice pictures. Hope this helps.
