QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 05:33 PM) Im not sure /roll was originally in the game, its been over 10 years so I cant remember if that was a patch update or not. The game was way different to start, kill stealing, ninja looting, exploiting trade bugs, all were fair game. The best policy still was always to loot first and ask questions later, unless it was no drop and then you were just a dick. Well if it wasn't on launch it came before Luclin which was pretty early on, I find it crazy that any game would come out nowadays without some kind of loot system. In Diablo3 for example everyone had their own private loot.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 04:37 PM) Wow so literally back to Everquest I days. Free for all was fun, but so many complaints. In EQ at least the community was polite enough items would be rolled on with the random 1 100. Or in most cases it went to the person whose class the item was for assuming it was an upgrade, this game seems like everyone for themselves and greedy as sin.

QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 04:06 PM) Is that likely to happen?? Kind of a silly question, of course it's not likely to happen even if Israel gets involved in their business. They know attacking a US base is only going to be bad news for the people currently in power, but it is still a threat and any threat to our country shouldn't be taken lightly.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 05:11 PM) I see Jackson going to ND, so I'll be pleasantly surprised if it's different. On IllinoisLoyalty, they have a few posters with inside sources and most believe he is picking Illinois but it isn't clear cut like they were with Nunn. If Weber was still the head coach I'd just assume the kid was going to ND but now I'm optimistic and going to be disappointed if the kid doesn't put on the Illini hat. -

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 04:20 PM) Demetrius Jackson to pick between Illinois and Notre Dame, tomorrow 4pm on ESPNU. Groce is a man on a mission, if he somehow lands Jackson and XRM the anticipation for their freshmen class will be nuts. -
QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 01:37 PM) I have thought about taking one of those retreats one summer where you stay with the monks for a week. So even when it is about relaxing you have to go to the extreme lol?

QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 11:41 PM) Such a scary topic. That one doctor just breezing through surgeries. Man our society is in deep s***, deep deep s***. You always take everything to the extreme lol, one hour everyday you need to just sit back and relax away from all technology or people.

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 06:30 PM) Lost my dog today of ten years. Surprising how sad that stuff can be. I just watched Marley and Me today for first time and definitely teared up a lot... losing a pet so hard.

QUOTE (Capn12 @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 05:18 PM) I gotta say, its kinda weird. Our(South Carolina) special teams have been ANYTHING but special, but they looked fantastic against Mizzou. Your QB, Franklin, baffles me. He looks FAR too relaxed and patient back there, it is very odd. I do think that Mizz has the chance to win some East games, the defensive gameplan against Mizz was fantastic for us. I know he is capable of far more than that though, he looked indifferent while in the game. One snap it looked like he just started walking casually after hiking the ball, you would of thought the play was dead just was weird. -
some ugly little girl is blowing your kid away sadly lol

QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 03:01 PM) You expect them to try and block the PAT. What the hell purpose would that serve? So they only lose by one instead of two. The Seahawks left the f***ing field too and I don't see you guys calling them classless. The Green Bay Packers are one of the classiest orginizations in sports and that is a fact. To piss them off this bad, someone is doing something wrong and its pretty obvious who it is. Lol what a ridiculous statement, it can be your opinion that they are a classy organization but to state it as fact..... Did the refs screw up.. yes they did. Did the Packers handle it with grace, no they did not... they handled it like kids outside of the head coach. I don't think anyone will make an argument that anything Pete Carroll related is classy so not sure why you bring that up as an example.
-
QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 02:16 PM) The Packers showed a tremendous amount of class by putting their pads back on and going back out for the PAT. The Seahawks showed less class after that game, than the Packers. Carroll acted like he won the f***ing Super Bowl. Many across the NFL are tweeting the same kinds of things as the Packers players so don't give me that bulls*** about them being classless. Lol bulls***, they left the field and just stood there for the final kick... the only reason the players went back out there is because someone in the Packers front office called down and told them to get their asses back on the field or there will be hell to pay. I will say the coach in his press conference handled it as well as you possibly can but the players were giant b****es. Oh, and yes the pass interference was blatant but more often than not the regular refs don't pull a flag out so deal with it lol.
-
QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 01:01 PM) They normally won't call PI on that type of play, but that went beyond just two guys pushing back at each other. He pushed Sam Shields in the back and knocked him on the ground. Im aware but there were also like 4 guys besides him in the jump I'm sure one of them pushed Tate a bit b4 contact on the ball was made too.... its just a call that doesnt happen, jump ball to end the game anything goes.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 12:40 PM) He'll get back in a rhythm in a week or two and we'll all be happy with him. He's just a miserable s*** when he's struggling...something that comes along with the package. Really watching Rodgers body language the last 2 games he seems very Cutler like, he just had a few really good seasons in a row which masks it I guess.
-
QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 12:17 PM) Yep. The NFL was never going to admit that call was incorrect even though everyone knows it was. Also, the fact that they can actually use replay to confirm that call just makes the replacement refs look even worse. It is literally impossible to watch a replay of that play and think there was simultaneous possession. The way replay works, the Ref reviewing the play made the right call... it was the call on the field that was atrocious and should have never happened given the back ref had the better view. I really hate people that bring up the pass interference, the regular refs in all likelihood don't call a pass interference... nobody wants to end a game on that note.
-
QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 11:59 AM) This is a pretty moronic statement. You say the Packers deserve to be f***ed over by the officials because of a previous bad call by the officials in a game the Packers were not even playing in? That might be the dumbest thing I've heard in awhile. Also, the Packers would have put up more points if the interception they had deep in Seahawks territory would have not been called back on a bulls*** roughing the passer call. All in all, this game sucked. No team deserves to have a win taken from them like that. The Packers wouldn't of scored a TD if not for a bulls*** PI call against the Seahawks, it goes back and forth. Even the regular refs have had disrupted the outcomes of game it happens just be happy its early enough in season if your team is good can overcome it.
-
QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 07:48 AM) If you put a defensive player on the field who is too f***ing stupid to bat the ball out of play and tries to catch it, you deserve to lose. Because that worked well for the Titans Sunday or the Bears last year.
-
I have to say golden tate sounded like a deuschbag in his post game interview, but I am really happy the packers lost and any team that gives up 8 sacks in one half should lose haha.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 10:58 AM) Had they caught the ball, Cutler would have thrown at a 60% completion rate with zero picks and there would have been more points on the board. Cutler wasn't great, but he wasn't terrible either. Offense struggled to generate points and is still not playing crisp, but given the multitude of new personell, I expect it to take time. There were also a couple incompletions where Cutler had to immediately throw the ball away. I was tracking his passes and outside of a throw to Bennett, there wasn't much that Cutler missed on. There were a couple of times where he forced the ball to Marshall, but as a whole, he played relatively efficient given the drops, etc. Average game. Well maybe you are just an optimistic person lol, I didn't leave that game feeling positive about our offense. I do think next week will be telling, we always play like s*** vs Packers and on top of that they are a very good team and we weren't really tested week 1 plus short week. But, the Cowboys are just a good team not great by any means and if the Bears can come out and handle business it will have me feeling much better about their chances this season. If they come out and display another poor outing I'm going to be thinking 8-8 type team.
-
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 10:46 AM) I'm pretty excited about the Bears. Must be the only one, but the defense has looked amazing and I expected the offense to struggle early as it created its identity. I expect it to potentially have a couple down games, but as a whole, continue to improve to the point where it is a top 10 offense in this league. This will be a very good football team by season end. Honestly the offense wasn't any better than last week with exception we faced a crappier team. Cutler has played like s*** even when given time the last 2 games and when the Colts got a little pressure early he even started like s*** that game. The defense was very good and we have got a lot of sacks last 2 games which is a plus. The Cowboys are 2-1 but like us it hasn't been the prettiest path the last 2 weeks so hopefully we come out and beat them and can go into bye week with a 4-1 record (Just assuming we beat Jags).
-
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 06:08 AM) Im with you. He shouldnt be in goal line packages ever again, especially when you have Jeffery and Bennett on the team. That was a easy TD that he missed yesterday if either of those two were targeted I don't mind him getting some snaps in general on offense but I do agree in the redzone his usefulness is not where it's needed.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 09:18 AM) Not sure what you're trying to say here, but I really, really hope it's not putting blame on the kid. It seemed like he was saying more than just the coach at fault, but I think it is fair the kid knew the conditions as well. It is very sad none the less and definitely gave everyone a negative view of the current ND coach and his staff. -

Well at least Illinois basketball looks promising.... why didn't Illinois do more to keep their defensive coordinator is beyond me. -
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 22, 2012 -> 10:19 AM) And if you have a family commitment that day and not near a computer, you're punished. Agreed, very stupid to not have waiver rules. If everyone in the league votes against it, who cares what rules they have? Personally I wouldn't join a money league without waivers but if they want it that way more power to them.
