hairston can play all OF spots so if they indeed get him that would help. I know on some reports it says Julio wont be included but ive heard in some that he will and you really never know. So way i look at it if they add Julio and Huff and only lose prospects and Sosa than the cubs offseason grade has to be an A.

if they some how get julio and prospects and then use those prospects to get Huff in essence getting a better RF and a closer. Ill call hendry a magician. i also heard sosa is willing to void his option year which makes things easier.

jeckle a minor leaguer, hell anyone has bad years. B4 his surgery Grilli was a higher prospect i think he was a pretty high up draft pick. So if he could get his arm back in shape he still has the ability to be a decent ball player. I like diaz too but when he started he didnt show much either.

well if cubs make out with Julio and Hairston JR and unload Sosa id say they didnt do 2 bad of a job. I just like to know how much of Sosa's contract they would have to eat.

i said grilli had a higher upside but maybe after that surgery he just doesnt have it who knows. All i know is i didnt enjoy watching him so now only got to get rid of Borchard

the deal isnt done yet but i heard Jorge Julio might be involved in the deal as well. Id assume for this to go down the cubs are paying a major part of Sosa's contract. I think he will bounce back in Baltimore really surrounded by good hitters and not have cub fans all over him.

i really wouldnt mind seeing Konerko go unless we get an extremely good deal on him. He is a nice guy to have around the clubhouse and all and he will hit you HR's but in my eyes he is worth 6-7 million at most and he already getting paid more than that. I really wouldnt mind if he was traded mid-season or at the end of the season through free agency. It will be nice to have a player leave on good terms for once too.

grilli was a good prospect once but had surgery, maybe after another year his arm will get better. Although it didnt look like it Grilli had probably a bigger upside than diaz although what we saw certaintly wasnt better than diaz.

while the logo thing is kind of a dumb idea. In my opinion the Cardinals are a team on the rise. Their defense wasnt that bad last year and with Green as their head coach and that talented group of WR's they got their offense will be good soon.

AFL really doesnt fit my taste. Maybe its 2 much football or maybe its just watching inferior athletes compared to the NFL. But this game might be worth trying if it shows the owners like Bon Jovi, Dikta, Elway

exactly what people dont get is not only are these guys putting up good numbers but their rookies putting up good numbers. We are a little bit spoiled after Hinrich last year but fact is most rookies struggle and struggle bad. Last year with Lebron, Wade, Melo, and Capt. Kirk was anything but the norm.

well he obviously could hit japanese pitching good so what in that tape would show he wouldnt be able to hit MLB fastballs if he never has faced MLB fastballs? Basicly Ray King made a statement without having all the facts.

ray king is a good lefty out of the pen, although i think marte is better. I think most people are mad about it because supposedly Iguchi didnt even play and Ray King is saying he isnt good without seeing him play.

I think he might have a little trouble adapting to the fastball but who from japan wouldnt. Iguchi will be fine.

AI avered 23.5 points playing 40 mins a game. Gordons avg. 13.1 points in in 22 mins. If Gordon got anywhere near the amount of time AI got on a consistent basis he could possibly of avg.ed more points than him their rookie years. and i said AI like, Ben Gordon wont need to avg. 30 ppg in a team with other scorers around him so he will score a little bit less but i think will have a better shooting pct.

well Okafur is obviously the better play as of now. I see him as an elton brand type player. But Ben Gordon in my opinion can be AI like. Just since he has more around him wont have to force so many shots.

well we are the favorites in this one so after a tough game against denver a couple days back les take it to Charlotte. Also Ben Gordon's chance to show Charlotte what they missed by drafting his former teamate instead of him.

im currently content with our DJ and Hawk combo. I guess i can see DJ going but im not a big Stone fan like the rest of you. He knows a lot about baseball and b4 this offseason i wouldnt of minded if he was our gm and id still like him if he was our bench coach. But he annoys me in the booth.
