well i know a lot about the mavericks and they have 2 consistent defenders in Howard and Dampier. Nowitzski uses all his energy on offense as you can see and Finley and Terry just arent great defenders. They do have a rookie guard though who is apposed to be pretty good but i dont know how his defense is.

i understand it would be nice to have Felix Diaz but is it really right to hold back a guys career if he is ready to contribute but wont get a chance on our team barring injury? Maybe if there was a deal that he would still be under contract with us and play in Japan?

well yeah everyone likes Dirk he is amazing but Howard is one of those guys that you dont hear a lot about but does a lot for his team. I know a lot about mavericks the guy that i talk to sports the most with lives in arlington texas and is a big maverick and rangers fan.

im not saying bringing him up for the sake of it im saying incase of injury i wouldnt mind him getting some major league experiance. Felix Diaz i think will be a successful bullpen pitcher but not a starter unless he develops another pitch but i do hope he succeeds i enjoy watching him.

Deng so far has been my favorite player this season. I like him and Chandler a lot. But i have to say i wish we had that Josh Howard guy on our team he is very impressive.. kind of like a better nocioni.

well idonno about you but there is a little guy named Brandon Mccarthy who if one of our starters went down mid-season i wouldnt hesitate to call up b4 Felix Diaz. Also if cotts is starting at triple A i wouldnt mind him and even though he was rocketed arnie munoz is always an option. and right now we have Dustin hermason who i think right now is our 6th starter option ahead of diaz

well if i remember right last year Diaz said he wanted to stay here and make the big leagues and im assuming that hasnt changed. But if Diaz really wanted to play in Japan and i was GM i would let him i mean if you arent going to give a guy a guranteed spot on the major league team let him go to japan to further his career

lol you guys need to not worry about this Tribe fan 2 much. You think we are being optimistic well go to espn and see what the Tribe fans and Detroit fans think thats what i call optimistic. But heres a little hint everyone thinks their team is going to do good so trying to tell them they wont doesnt work.

i think that statement is way off about our rotation. Buehrle i think is going to get better, Garland well at least the white sox organization would like us to believe he is going to be better and while i have given up on him being a number 1 or 2 for us ever i think he will improve. We are counting on Contreras to be better than when he was in New York and using the excuse that being out of the spotlight will help. El duque has peaked and is on decline ill give you that one and Garcia prob wont improve much but he could. So our rotation in my eyes has far from peaked unless your looking at El Duque and Garcia alone.

while homeruns wont win us divisions i still think they would help a ton, it seems to me like some people think we would be a better team if we only hit 100 HR's but while we shouldnt rely on them like the past 200 HR's is a very good thing.

a course pike is a respected veteran, or thats what the bulls want us to think

now that i think about it drafting a reliever first round really doesnt seem 2 great i rather draft a sp or position player.

yeah i still see us in the 200 HR range which is still plenty of them. but i dont see those explosion days we had as much but i rather be consistent than explode 1 day and nothing the next.

i would change it so baseball only gets a 1 month break after the playoffs and then continues again. Snow Baseball = the haxors.

well from what i can tell our OL is going to be mostly similar only switch being Tait moving to LT. But i think our OL can be really good again. Tait is solid, kreutz is solid, and Ruben Brown is pretty good too, all of those 3 can hold their own. I dont remember our LG so wont comment on him but im assuming Marc Columbo will get the starting nod at RT so thats prob are biggest ? but Columbo was a solid prospect b4 his injury so we will see what happens.
