Thats exactly what I was thinking... Seriously though if you ever needed any more prove what a waste of time being in gang is then you get it in spades here.

When I saw this story on the news I was absolutely shocked the guy wasn't fired. I mean there is no way that jackass should still have a job.
-
What I found funny was it didn't even look like he hit the ball that hard.
-
This whole thing makes me sick. They have all but accepted the fact that Sammy didn't use Roids. This is BS.

QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 10:34 PM) I think Dusty would be the first to go. Remember, he really didn't want to go to Chicago, but all the other jobs were taken and he wanted to manage that year. Hell, I think he would've choosed the White Sox if they were there over the Cubs(IMHO). I think he'll jet once he gets the chance if he's not fired yet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I just had this nightmarish image of that chump managing the sox and even being able to make the play offs again.

Frank releases advance copy of steroid testimony!
AngelasDaddy0427 replied to Jabroni's topic in Pale Hose Talk
It is nice that Frank isn't ducking testifying or hiding anything and they can accomidate his injury. -
I can't figure out how in the hell you can have a videotape of a bunch of guys taking advantage of an obviously drunk 16 year old and not be convicted.
-
s***... I misread the question... I meant to say no but I think I hit yes instead... One of those yes's are really a no.

I can't believe I have to be the voice of reason among all of this ignorance. The fact of the matter is that Felix dominated AAA. He has proven that he has among the best control in the organization (maybe even second to BMAC). The fact is that the Sox brought him up without having him pitch in 2 weeks, then had him pitch on three days rest. Yet when they weren't screwing him over he actually proved he could get the job done as a starter when not jerked around (two quality starts) and a very good run out of the bullpen down the stretch. Now don't get me wrong I wouldn't get choked up in the least to see him traded, in fact I think it would actually best for him. What pisses me off is you guys calling him turd or comparing him to Joe Borchard. With the premium on pitching there is a solid young arm is still worth well more then a never will be outfielder.

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 14, 2005 -> 04:13 PM) Hyundai player of the game goes to Derrick Lee. No. Not Aaron. Cubs. :headshake <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you serious? -
March 14 2005 Cubs vs Sox spring training game

Damaso looked weak that inning. Like he kind of slacked off and then decided to bear down when he got a couple of guys on base. -

Does anyone know if it's going to be the Cubs or Sox broadcast team calling this game? -
Israel draws up plans to strike Iran Nuke Plant

I love how we see an article written about their "secret plans" -
QUOTE(Jabroni @ Mar 13, 2005 -> 03:41 AM) http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/gammons/story?id=2011372 Gammons also thinks that the Mets are interested in getting Alex Escobar back from the Nationals... I wonder if Kenny could have gotten more for Escobar from the Mets. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think a more interesting question is if they might be interested in Borchard...

QUOTE(Nokona @ Mar 13, 2005 -> 10:14 AM) I love Montana, that could have been an awesome spring break. What part of Montana is she from? That really sucks for you dude. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Great Falls, I just couldn't believe it when they told me that I couldn't get another flight even though I had proof from both my doctor and the hospital. The did give me a credit that I can use in May but I was so looking forward to going this week.
-
I had a flight for yesterday at 7 am to see my halfsister in Montana. Took every last penny I had. Then I ended up missing the flight because I went in the hospital because I have really bad broncthes and was having trouble breathing. I couldn't stand up without vomiting. Because of all this I missed my flight. I called Northwest and they told me that I couldn't get another flight for this week unless a paid 600 dollars more. and that damn "flight insurance" I got from travelocity doesn't cover any of this even though I was in the hospital. The best I could get was credit for a flight in May. So now my whole spring break is ruined and i'm so depressed. This is just pissing me off.

I've had some car accidents but nothing where I actually felt close to dying. My twin bro has one though. He was hit by a car. Thank God he had someone watching over him.

I never knew their was a boycott...

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Mar 10, 2005 -> 03:10 PM) I wonder whay he panicked and killed himself. Maybe he had something really incriminating in the car with him, like his clothes with their blood on it. Strange. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> More then likely it was just guilt that built up. I mean after you do something like that it has to just knaw at you (well at least if you have a soul).
-
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 10, 2005 -> 01:41 PM) Too bad the media will never apoligize to Hale for assuming that he had this done. The guy might be a scumbag, but they had him all over the news for this, and he looks to have had zero connection to it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't see why any of us should feel sorry for him.
-
It's really a shame the guy just turned out to be some random whack job. I was kind of hoping the feds would be able to use this to attack those racist idiots.

I'm picking up some of those gourmet cat treats on the way home...

Levine on Borchard's stock + Harris to Milwaukee?
AngelasDaddy0427 replied to Jabroni's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Wasn't this Milwaukee idea already shot down by their GM. As for Borchard if we could get something decent for him I say we should of do it ASAP while they still have those homers fresh in their minds and not his eventual 0 for 40 strech he's bound to have. -
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Mar 8, 2005 -> 03:31 PM) Usually, knee problems, less than 25 years old, and catcher aren't phrases you want to hear in the same sentence. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Isn't that why Konerko had to give up catching full time?

I think we are failing to realize what this truely is. Helping out a teammate thats going to be unemployed soon.
