I don't see how you could possibly make all the divisions credible with all the of the titles you would have in your fantasy WWE. They can't do it now because they have no time to develop the natural build up for titles. How would you have distinctions between WWE / Universal / Inter / US? I see that you wrote it there, but meh -- I don't think it's possible with that many titles. These days, we had a perfect example of WWE messing this up: Roman Reigns is the IC champion. This is your face of the company and you give him the IC title? Why? He should be fighting for the big title. Well, they gave him this to keep him occupied as their main title is gone for a while (part time lesnar). But nice to see a good post here other than me. -

Yeah -- The WWE Marketing procedures is the most sickening element of the product. The pre-shows, the commentary, the PPV names, the 'network package', the video packages, the flash backs are just awful. Makes one feel like a 6 year old watching the show. It's a problem I've been pondering for years now... how to develop the secondary feuds to make the divisions relevant... Right now it feels like hot potato with the title belts. My opinion would be to merge US + IC title into one and have it be cross brand to develop guys better and make it more credible. I'd also give the women a show of their own (maybe replace 205 live, but give them 2 hours a week). Then you have the two main titles which are usually credible to some degree, or at least, they have enough show time to make them credible. You have mid card tag titles (merged) and mid card IC title. Then they can focus on building up the divisions. -

Someone paid my paypal with the request that I post some of my thoughts on the weekend's PPVs: Takeover Wargames was great. VVD vs. Black was a MOTY candidate. Amazing storytelling and the match made VVD a star. WOW. Wargames was great too. SS was my favorite PPV of the year, even tho both of their 5on5's were horrendous. Mainly the men's 5on5 was just down right terrible when it didn't need to be. Nice to see Asuka/Braun looking strong tho. So that's ONE positive. Shield vs. New Day was incredible. Aj vs. Brock was GOOD. Overall, a decent PPV finally from WWE (first of the year maybe). -

I decided to give you unintelligent wrestling fans a piece of my highly acclaimed opinion in this thread once again. The reason? WWE has finally pulled out a pretty good line up and done some things right. It started off with the absolutely awful invasion of Raw by Smackdown. Storyline wise, this was a terrible decision, but it has led us to a well booked PPV with a line up that is actually VERY GOOD. First off, the replacement of Jinder with AJ has made this weekend much, much better. I don't expect Brock Lesnar to put on a good match with anyone anymore and I expect the match to less sub ten minutes with Brock winning after 1 F-5, but with AJ in the ring, you know we are going to get the absolute best that we can out of Brock. It will be an interesting match to watch, even if we know the typical Brock wrestling technique by now. Much, much more interesting then what could have been with Jinder vs. Brock. So kudos to WWE for making the move on this. The 5on5 matches have shaped up well also. First, the main event 5on5: I have my criticisms with them placing HHH in there (and thus, burying Jason Jordan in the process). Also, I'm not a fan of Angle/Shane being there. This just proves how s*** their booking has been for the past year... if they can't come up with 5 legit stars on each team to do this, then what the f*** have they been doing? Anyway, the interesting part is the interaction between HHH and Angle as we expect them to have a storyline soon. I wonder how Jason Jordan will get involved as well. Will he finally turn heel? On who? Likely Angle? Anyway, should be a fun match, even though nothing is really 'on the line.' Same deal with the women's 5on5, I fully expect one of the Bellas to take the 5th spot from Natalya. NVM. I'm not going to write anymore. NXT Takeover should be awesome by the way Kind regards. Maybe you guys can pay me to post in this thread and I will consider posting more. Cheers. -

Raw was horrendous with the HHH reign of terror. But in general, that entire time period s***s all over the current product. Literally, 100x better! The smackdown crew was great, but they also had equally terrible things like Katie vick (or whatever). -

Welp, it must be more WWE f***ery. The internet is not a blaze with rumors surrounding the Modern Day Maharajah (sp) losing this match. It seems this was just WWE's way of promoting smackdown. Kinda f***ing ridiculous, per usual, from WWE. Today I was looking back at 2002 time period, and while things started to go downhill there, they were still 100x better then what we get today. AJ vs. Lesnar is absolutely money. Why they can't do this... I do not understand. It seems WWE is hell bent on wasting their best talent for some reason. -

WOW, that is incredibly suspicious that they changed it to a title match. Why the hell waste the title match on smackdown when clearly you are building it up to a PPV feud? Also, if you are putting it on Smackdown, why have virtually no build to it? This definitely smells like a big problem occurred with Jinder and they need to get the title off him ASAP. Maybe drug use problem? I mean, if AJ does the job and loses, then it really questions just what in the hell the booking team was doing booking AJ vs. Rusev and then switching it like this. It's either Jinder has to get rid of the title OR the booking is incredibly inept here. But if AJ does go over here, then he faces Brock that would be simply incredible, compared to the Jinder reign. Also, with Rusev being placed into Team Smackdown it is even more likely that AJ is going to win (i.e. you do NOT leave AJ off the card at any PPV, unless, of course -- AJ has some personal reasons to be left off SS and thus, their giving Rusev the win and deciding to go with this job here to Jinder). Another theory being thrown around is that tickets were maybe low so they decided to book this. Which really -- is a big f*** you to their product. Basically, my outlook on this is: If AJ wins = GREAT. YES. f*** the Jinder title reign. If AJ loses = f*** WWE. So, GL WWE, balls in your court! You f***ed yourself into this position by doing this. -

I'm with you guys (kinda) on the assessment of Bliss. They aren't booking her matches properly (see: Burial of Bayley) which is having a major negative effect on the overall women's division. With that being said, I'm a big fan of Bliss and her amazing personality/character. If only they could book right... I will say, this weeks WWE results were a step in the right direction... If you are going to have Kane beat Balor, make it consistent at least -- and that is what they are doing -- making Kane a monster who will be torn down at a later time (likely by Strowman and Demon Balor). I'm totally fine with this now. That's actually decent/good writing purpose. I didn't like the return of Stephanie, that sucks, there's just no reason for it... Although, what they've done for Survivor series has been very good outside of the random babyface-led assault on Monday Night Raw. After that assault, things have been pretty good in the build up of SS and I will say it's much better than simply announcing the matches. I'm looking forward to SS now. Kudos to them after a disastrous TLC pay per view and stupid way of starting the storyline. As for Braun, this guy is awesome. I have no problem with the dumpster segment, it's cool he's more of a tweener/babyface, because the fans get behind him. It would be a dream come true to see him own the Rumble and go on to have an amazing match with Brock and win his first championship in the main event of 'Mania... but as we all know that spot is reserved for Roman. -

Holy s***. I woke up just now and read the results of the raw Main event. Whose s*** ideas are this?? Just copied/pasted from another persons rant: "Now I'm all for having something unique or different be booked, or some huge angle that actually generates attention. Hell, they did this same angle last year between the five guys on Raw and on SD and it worked because there was good heat being built up between the two teams. This however, this was just utter crap. There are so many things wrong with this, with the leading fact that you basically negated the majority of storylines on SD and made everybody look like heels as they bum rushed everybody on Raw one by one. You had underdog sympathetic babyface Becky Lynch cheer on random Raw guys basically getting jumped from behind. You had AJ Styles attack Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, two babyfaces who he had JUST teamed up with earlier in the show. You had goofy babyfaces in New Day cheering the charge and choking out and beating up guys themselves. I don't understand what they were thinking with this. It just made everybody on SD look like assholes, much less destroy storylines as babyfaces and heels who hateone another randomly just decided to work together because of a blue shirt. f*** this storyline. This booking is the drizzling s***s." It's true. What the f***?? Also, seems like creative in the back is completely puzzled with Vince's decision to have finn balor absolutely burried last night against old man Kane... a night after he just regained a ton of momentum beating AJ Styles in a great match. Creative literally ruins everything. It's insane. -

Kevin Owens? Maybe? Hmmm... Asuka right now, but we know they will ruin her soon (See: Bayley, Sasha, entire women division on both shows). I like The Bar, they are awesome! Miz is great. Can't hate on AJ Styles, everything he does is absolute gold. They put him in the f***ing mid card with the US title and he still kills it. One of the few insane talents that overcomes s***ty WWE booking. I like what WWE did with Rollins/Ambrose, that was smart to keep both guys away from the big title yet keeping them extremely strong and over. Match quality overall is pretty good. There's no doubt that the talent is there. It's just that the booking literally is the worst I've ever seen. I'd give the talent a rating somewhere around 90/100. The booking, however would be 0-5/100. It's that bad. I gurantee I could do a better job, BY MYSELF, then their entire team. Hell, most of us in this thread could come up with better storylines. (That is, as long as Vince doesn't veto any of my ideas and no-- that doesn't mean a return to X-rated WWE ATTITUDE ERA!! It means continuation of storys, building people up). I can name 100's of examples this year a lone, but the pinnacle of stupidity is how they handled Bayley. There's just so many glaring functional problems: I hate Michael Cole. With a passion. His overselling makes me cringe the hardest cringe I've ever cringed. He is everything wrong with the WWE summed up in a human being. There's not a single title belt in the WWE that holds credibility / that has been booked properly. OK, maybe Brock Lesnar's title holds some credibility simply because he has held it so long and he is Brock Lesnar, but we all know where that's going --> Lesnar vs. Reigns @ WM. So, it's kind of means nothing since it's so blatantly predictable and poor. Back to what I like: Well there was Neville. He was good, now he's gone because of their lack of respect. Obviously I'm cool with Charlotte and her work, she is fantastic, even when she is booked to f***ing s*** lately. She is like AJ -- a talent that overcomes even the s***tiest of booking. I generally like what NXT does, their cool -- and the WarGames NXT Survivor Series with the Womans Match is my most anticipated night in Wrestling since a long while. Ohhh, I like me some Braun Strowman, and Samoa Joe's work with Lesnar was simply fantastic (but, f*** Lesnar to hell). -

Was it necessary to put Kurt Angle in the match if all he was going to do was take one spot and be done? It's really sad when the main event here is worse then the 3 women's matchs and the 2 cruiserweight matches. This match might be in the top 10 of worst matches I've ever witnessed simply due to how incredibly messy it is. Brings back WCW memories. -

Welp, I called it.. Kurt has no business in this match, he looks extremely slow/laggy. I did get the prediction wrong with Jason Jordan being put into the match. Still not sure how they expect this to be believable when The Bar vs. Ambrose/Rollins was taking to the limit last month. Then you have angle vs. Strowman/Kane/Miz... hmm... -

Yes you can and should have. Emma is a jobber on Raw. Asuka is supposed to be a beast. They hurt Asuka by having Emma get in a decent amount of offense when Emma is jobbing out on Raw in 3 minutes to every women there. It's just basic storytelling. -

Yes, the promo work has been fantastic in the past 24 hours. Rollins/Ambrose promo on the pre-show was A+, the 5 Heel Promo on the PPV was A+. Asuka should have SQUASHED Emma the Jobber, but instead went close to 10 minutes or something with somewhat even offense. Asuka's downfall starts.... -

As a prediction before the show, I am almost certain that Jason Jordan gets added to the main event. It makes too much damn sense. They need another body (it can't just be Rollins/Ambrose vs. the 5) We know Angle isn't going to go for much/long. -

I would much rather Angle be taken out early, creating a dynamic storyline and a correctly built up Angle match down the road. That would be more interesting to me then randomly popping Angle into a 8 person mess. Angle has no business here, not with any of the combatants, not facing a 5 on 3 (where he made the match a 5 on 3), etc. Why they couldn't just say OK Reigns is out, so we are adding in Matt and Jason Jordan. That would have produced a higher quality match (as Angle can't go right now, He's broke mannnnnnn, I guess will see tho..). I'm hoping that they are going to create a storyline here for Angle and not just have him in the match for s***s and giggles to get the crowd happy. That's bogus. This whole thing was bogus from the beginning which I pointed out in this thread. Having the Shield come back for a money grab was another slap in the face of any fan who enjoys storylines. As the rajah.com writer stated, Strowman is also losing the magic they had with him. It's definitely not completely lost, but this guy has been on fire this year and they are just toying with him as he is overshadowed by Reigns and Lesnar constantly. They better make him look strong in this match or give him a storyline to work with (perhaps walking out on his team). They can't have Strowman lose a 5on3 match when it isn't even against the Shield. The whole f***ing show of Raw is a s*** fest. From the cruisers who are walking out, to the woman who are also displeased (Nia), to the main championships. There's not a single good thing going on Raw right now, and don't tell me to stop watching/following -- I don't spend a dime on them. If there was any competition, they'd be run out of town, but because they've had a monopoly for the past 10 or how many years they are safe for a while producing s***. -
WOOOO. Let's go YANKS!!! Either way, it should be an exciting game 7 friends. This will be great.

The review from rajah.com sums up a lot of good points on the main event: "I know what you were gonna say. “Kurt, you’re a hypocrite. You’ve been yelling for The Shield to reunite since SummerSlam and now that they have, you’re against it.” I get it, and you’d be right. Here’s the problem though, this isn’t The Shield. This is Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns teaming up. There’s a HUGE difference. Look at this past Monday’s tag title match. The Shield in their original incarnation came down through the crowd, no matter what combination was in the match. On Monday though, Seth and Dean still came out to their own individual entrances. How am I supposed to buy in that this a long-term reuniting (we all know it’s not, but you can still make me believe it is because it’s not hard) when everyone is still themselves individually? The Shield was a bond, a family, that was together in EVERYTHING. WWE brought them back together just to sell some tickets, and it couldn’t be more apparent with how they’re presented. Their new shirt even has their individual logos on it. It’s not something to make the product more interesting, it’s just a money grab. For that, I can’t get behind it as much as I would love to be able to. It’s ironic though, because even though it was a money grab, ticket sales are clearly not going up and last week’s Raw DROPPED by 200,000 viewers in the ratings. It’s even more ironic that poor sales for this event is what prompted WWE to bring The Shield together and now they won’t even get that. I have so many issues with Kurt Angle being in this match. First off, the most logical substitution would be Matt Hardy. It’s a TLC match and we just celebrated the 18th anniversary of the ladder match that put The Hardys on the map (No Mercy 1999). Plus, he’s not doing a damn thing now. Did that just make too much sense for WWE? Also, Angle’s first match in 11 freaking years and it’s in a match that HE made 5 on 3. Is the story going to be that he feels guilty for putting The Shield at such bad odds? Without Roman, it also makes Kane irrelevant now. It seems like a much easier solution would be Dean and Seth vs. The Bar in a TLC match for the tag titles, then have Miz issue an open challenge and have Angle accept it. It’d be a really nice surprise and also be a match that makes way more sense. You can just leave Kane off the show and Braun unfortunately does become the odd man out. However, he just took a crippling loss to Brock Lesnar and he really can’t afford another one, so not having a match wouldn’t be the worst thing. Hopefully he’s nowhere near the decision. They’re teetering on blowing it with Braun." All very good points ^^. -

Yeah, some weird things going on. Finn vs. AJ should be a good/great match, sucks there's no build, but hey -- its 1000000x better then the s***fest we were getting with Wyatt vs. Finn. The question is how does the match end? Do they let Finn win clean as he is likely going into a big push? If so, that makes Smackdown look a bit riduclous. Do they have AJ win? Well, of course not, it's Finn's match/Raw. So my guess is that the Bullet Club does get involved. Er, I mean, Luke/Gallows. As far as Kurt Angle returning, that's a real head scratcher... you are telling me that they couldn't find anyone better? This guy is supposedly broken, yet their throwing him into Tables, ladders, and chairs for his return?? We know he is not taking any bumps... and I mean, really? Why not build up his first match to Wrestlemania or something instead of doing this. I guess it gets butts into seats, but man -- just seems like a bad move there. Btw if Kurt comes out this Sunday taking dives into tables/chairs and so forth, I will eat my s***, but who is going to predict him to have any success in a TLC match??? -
I'm starting to really root for these Yanks. I did not want houston to win, cause f*** them! But seeing Frazier/Robertson/Kahnle do well and have fun is nice. Seeing Judge and Sanchez perform is also cool. This team has a good spirit and it's fun to watch. Besides, the other 3 options kinda suck (I'm somewhat partial to the Cubs due to rooting for Chicago... but they seem dead in the water).
