QUOTE(YASNY @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 01:07 AM) Which is the exact reason Ozzie left him in there. All the screams for DH were from people that only think about today, not the long haul of a season. If hermanson cannot pitch more than three innings in 18 days i do not want him on the team. -
Bizzump... i keep hearing how amazing the special affects are but cruise being in it makes me sick.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 29, 2005 -> 11:35 PM) KW was interested in him when he was a free agent coming from Pittsburgh a few years back. Would help if he pitched on pittsburgh...? His career whip of 1.42 + our park = 13 era. -

QUOTE(Dam8610 @ Jun 29, 2005 -> 11:31 PM) Agreed 100%. I want him here, and I'd be satisfied if the Sox gave up a large package to get him here. However, I also want him to STAY HERE, so that big package that the team gives up doesn't go for naught. By the way, what's LOOGY stand for? I know it means lefty specialist basically, but I've been trying to figure out the acronym for a while now. Second defeinition... ...here. -
QUOTE(3E8 @ Jun 29, 2005 -> 11:18 PM) Vizcaino should be a damn good major league reliever. -Mid nineties fastball -Avg to plus slider -Sinker with rightward movement When you can move the ball both directions on a hitter you can be nasty. Would be nice if he had some control I guess. Problem has been all year his fastball was consistently 91-92 the entire year up until the colorado series. He hit 96 twice in one at-bat in colorado and since then his velocity is back to how he was throwing last year. Another problem of his was throwing a slider three to four pitches out of every five. He still has a long ass way to go though.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 29, 2005 -> 11:11 PM) Oh, I dunno the Reds order but if he did have more people in front of him on base, he would have more than 39 RBI's. Lopez, Aurilia, Casey, Randa: 350/300/372/371 Thats actually pretty good lol. Then you tell me why he only has 39 ribbies! lol Aurillia is not their primary two hole hitter... not even close. He is hitting .250 with men on and .189 with men in scoring position. Men not being on is not the case in this situation. -

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 29, 2005 -> 10:36 PM) Dude c'mon, If your gonna add something to the thread, say something knowledgeable. Yes, I was exxagurating....what? Am I going to be shunned from society? :headshake Rowand44, yes, his numbers are very odd but it attests to the team he plays for. 20 HR and only 39 RBI is funny but his high ass OBP is the funniest. He doesn't get many people on base in front of him. Do you know the combined obp of the first four hitters in the line-up through out the season? Take a look.
