  1. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 08:31 PM) Please tell me that because of the injuries, Ben and Tyson are finally starting. Neither started and neither will once both curry and harrington come back.
  2. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 08:29 PM) OMG another Turnover, what a suprise Eleven for the bulls is fantastic.
  3. QUOTE(3E8 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 08:29 PM) did they score? No.
  4. The stats and facts prove who is the better point guard between the two yet you choose to ignore them.
  5. 20 rebounds for tyson.
  6. Marte sucks we might as well trade him while he still has a little value left. :rolly
  7. No hill and no othella. Othella is still with his wife who is having a c section... has been in labor forever practically. Nelson will be starting over augmon tonight.
  8. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 05:55 PM) I love Simmons. I was going to DePaul when he was there and I got to see him play. He would be a great pickup for us but we would have to play him as a SG. Agreed, i am just saying in a pich you can play him at small foward. I really want another shooting guard because i do not have faith in gordon starting. For one his defense blows and he picks up fouls way to quickly to stay on the floor for any amount of time. Also, his stamina is bad even if sleepy does not want to believe so or not. He has said along with skiles that he will be working on that in the off season. Actually putting him at small foward might be better considering he has pretty bad handles. Not something you want from someone holding the ball so much.
  9. QUOTE(sircaffey @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 05:25 PM) Yeah the stadium attitude looked like crap on TV. We need some people there damn it. What was the recording attendance? I'd go but I'm at college. 10,520.
  10. Bobby Simmons Los Angeles Clippers Chicago connection: A fourth-year 6-6 small forward, Simmons was born in Chicago and starred at Simeon High School, where he averaged 27 points, 10 rebounds and five assists as a senior before playing three years at DePaul. He was drafted No. 42 in 2001 by the Seattle SuperSonics, who instantly traded him to Washington for Predrag Drobnjak. Catching up: Averaging career highs of 16.8 points and 6.0 rebounds this season, Simmons, 24, is one of the league's best bargains at his salary of $825,000. But all that will change this summer when he becomes a free agent. "It's a good chance that I will be re-signed this summer, and that would be nice because I like it here,'' Simmons said. "Chicago is also a possibility, and that would be nice because you can never beat home cooking and because the Bulls are now a young team turning things around as a winner again and they'll be in the playoffs. But I'll leave this in my agent's hands.'' As it stands he will probally be too much for us. But if he seriously has interest we need to make it happen. He is exactly what we need a big guard that can even play some small forward and knows how to post up.
  11. You majik fans go in your own thread it might jinx us...
  12. QUOTE(danman31 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 05:09 PM) Sorry if this sounds racist, but I couldn't help but notice that the Bulls have 3 white guys starting while the Magic have 5 black guys starting. Anyone know if Othello is coming off the bench? Also when is Curry back? Curry may be back friday but if not saturday for sure. Othella is still with his wife that i know of... if i see any updates soon i will post.
  13. Where does the game thread start getting good? I want to see the twists and turns of people b****ing.

  18. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 02:36 AM) For whatever it's worth... Kevin Millwood's Spring Training stats: 1-1 record 6.00 ERA .300 BAA 3 starts 9 IP 12 H 6 ER 1 HR 6 BB 7 SO His era will be right around five this year. I see him getting slapped around a lot.
  19. QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 02:33 AM) I'd be alot more likely to think Sanchez used, than to think Koch did. Is it because of sanchez's boost in home run power last year?
  20. QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 02:03 AM) Honestly I do too....MLB, what a sham job there...they knew the results of that test up to 4 weeks ago, and waited until Opening Day to announce it, in an attempt to show how their new policy was "Stern and just!" :rolly If the mlb made something up this serious why have alex sanchez be their victim? Makes no sense to me... could have been someone more believable at the very least. He took them until proven otherwise for me anyway.
  21. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 01:54 AM) Supposedly Alex Sanchez says he never ever took any steroids or anything along those lines. He is pissed over the suspension and is going to appeal and his attorney is stating he's never done anything along those lines. I really believe him too.
  22. QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 01:32 AM) Pitchers have been losing velocity for about ...oh ... a century. Nothing new with a guy losing some zip of his fastball. They just usually donm't stick around the big leagues. Pitchers lose velocity when they were either injured or getting up there in age. Koch was neither. It is very rare that i know of that a pitcher is throwing 100 and six months later cannot touch 95. I could maybe see a mile or two loss but five to seven is too drastic.
  23. QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 01:26 AM) Whatever. It's asinine to throw out unfounded speculation and accusations. How do you lose several miles per hour over night. Some will say he was overused but i don't think being overused will decrease your velocity that much and never have it come back? All that i am saying is it is a possibilty if alex was gonna break the all time bunt for a hit in one season sanchez is on steroids.
  24. QUOTE(YASNY @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 01:15 AM) That's been speculated around here too. Of course, we all know Koch was a musclebound freak. :rolly Alex sanchez.
