  1. Carl crawford is gonna have some competition this year.
  2. He was put on the disabled list one each year for 15 games and they have been trying to get utley some time.
  3. Why wou you suggest that? He is a damn good player.
  4. They can play small ball extremely well. The sox on the other hand, well, blow when it comes to bunting and moving runners over etc.
  5. He will get at least eleven according to rotoworld and i know somewhere in the rumors thread people were mentioning how he was either offered that much or wants that much. I am gonna go look for it now.
  6. Only hitter i can see hitting ove .300 would be rowand and that is far from a sure thing.
  7. I like him, don't get me wrong. Problem with his last contract is he was vastly overpaid. Also if he thinks he is gonna get 16 million per year i think he is dreaming.
  8. I think it was 71 because i kept hearing that they had three to four million left to play with and the payroll is supposedly 75 million.
  9. You know that i could care less if a player strikes out. But man does he have some ugly ass swings whenever he strikes out. He is like uribe, well uribe is probally like him, falling over on their horrible swings.
  10. Props to chandler tonight, he held dirk to 4-18 shooting. He did make 13 free throws on 19 attempts which is pretty bad for such and excellent free throw shooter. Also the game before against the timberwolvers he held garnett to 6-17 shooting.
  11. Two out of the last three years his road splits have been excellent. I think he could pitcher just about anywhere and do fairly well.
  12. While i like perez ( who will make 7-9 million) and clement who is reportedly up to nine million per season, i don't know if i like them that much. I don't think they want to spend all of there money on one person. The sorta pitcher i see getting brought in is a paul byrd type.
  13. I could have sworn he was open to going to other teams at the trade dead line. But i don't have an article to prove it so you may be right.
  14. We do, but cabrera is not a wise investment since we have other holes to fill. At least three that come before short.
  15. That is what i am thinking, why not try and get something, anything for him. Such as another middle infielder bullpen are ( which they really do not need) or some prospects.
  16. While it is rumored that washburn will get non-tendered i don't see it happening, does anyone else feel the same way?
  17. qwerty replied to Winning Ugly's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I would give him a minor league contract and an invite to spring training.
  18. Yes, but they are gonna be loyal and bring him back unless if he has some sever injury next year. That is what i think is gonna happen.
  19. Damn ten million is alot for a guy that will probally be injured some how in 2006 and only play 90 games.
  20. I have not visited wsi in over a month. I registered there and never posted, they are all ridiculous over there.
  21. The 22 turn overs and 58% from free throws didn't hurt them any.
  22. He treid to talk up cabrera again, then we told him to shut up.
  23. 2003: $5.0M 2004: Dual option $6.0M player/$8.0M team 2005: Dual option $8.0M player/$11.0M team 2006: Dual option $10.0M player/$12.0M team or $3.5M buyout -Player receives $1M loan and can void deal after 2003 -Can receive up to $2M in bonuses for top 10 MVP finish
