I agree about adkins 100%, ever since he was called up last year i thought he could be a pretty good set-up man in the future. He just needs to improve his whip and he will be alright. While people view cotts as a starter i really think he would be better in long relief. Maybe that is just me.

This game is utterly stupid, no one seems to want to get anyone out on either team.

Like i said, once he develops 50-60 home run power his stolen bases will vastly decline and his defense will not be quite the same. In the first place his average has never been great.

People love him for his stolen bases, but just like sosa, bonds, a-rod, etc. When all of those players developed very good home run power ( steriods or not ) they got away from do the little things. Once beltran starts hitting 50 something home runs a year his defense will no longer be as good and if he has half th estolen bases i would be shocked.

I am still sick of the fact that beltran will be getting 16-20 million a year. While he is good he is not that good.

I agree, he has not had the greatest year by any means, but it has been repectable.
