What board were you reading? InsideCarolina.com is the best board, and even the non-premium has more than its fair share of "trolls" posing as UNC fans. Don't think just because some UNC fans are dumb, that all of UNC is like that. UNC has tons of bandwagon fans right now, and ignorance comes with that. These are alot of the same people that were UConn fans last year, Syracuse the year before etc. UNC fans have a dislike for Weber's voice because it sounds very similar to our arch rival NC State's football coach, those that make fun of him for it just can't find anything else to bash him about.

What a matchup this will be, two great teams, lots of great players, two of the classiest coaches in all of sports. Felton and McCants should pretty much cancel out with Williams and Brown, so it should come down to how Illini handles May down low, and how UNC handles Head on the perimeter. What a treat this will be for even the casual fans, two beautiful passing teams and lots of grit from guys like Roger Powell and Jawad Williams. Needless to say, I'm more than excited. (hopefully my nails grow back by then because DAMN they hurt right now)

He didn't stand a chance with the announcers sucking Paulas' dick the entire game. Frasor could have scored 50 in the game and Jay Williams would have still been talking about Paulas being the next Cousy/Jason Kidd.

Thats cool, he had a tough Mickey D's game, but its not really designed for team players like h is.

I see it the exact opposite way suprise suprise. MSU shouldn't be close, but Felton and Rashad out for that long stretch really hurt. Great game so far though.

I'm expecting the Steelers to draft a CB in the first round. Then trade up their 2nd round pick and some other picks to get to the middle/front of the 2nd round and take Matt, like they did a few years ago trading up for Bell before others could snatch him up.

The 06 class is better than this 05 class, and the 07 class is supposed to be as good as the 04 class, which was great. I'm bored right now so here are my top ten CURRENT programs. 1. UConn(2 championships lately and doing VERY well in recruiting) 2. Duke(yuck, but they are still getting just about who they please) 3. Mighigan State(teams are doing well, but recruiting this year a little down for their standards) 4. Kentucky(still elite, and a hell of a freshmen class, doing well in recruiting again) 5. Kansas(elite recruiting and almost elite results on the court) 6. Arizona(still very good recruiting and very good results) 7. Oklahoma State(very good results, and elite recruiting lately) 8. UNC(elite recruiting, and results starting to come again) 9. Illinois(recruiting in question, but results aren't) 10. WF(recruiting well, and results pretty solid)

Young definitely can't make all the throws right now. He's really going to have to improve in that area if he wants to stick at QB. Vince currently has 18 TD's and 18 INT's in his career, while averaging only 7.7 yards per completion. He still has alot of work to do, but he can do it. He's mostly a RB playing QB right now, maybe it will change.

Football is 3 years minimum due to the physical nature of the game, high school players aren't physically ready to compete in the NFL. Alot of high school basketball players are. Who knows why the rule is in college baseball. But I can see your argument also, I think something will change this offseason that will dramatically effect college basketball. I'm hoping its an age rule of some kind, whether a minor league is put in place or not.

Its going to become more and more the norm for a QB in college to switch to WR in the NFL in my opinion. QB's are getting more and more athletic at the QB position, but can't make all the throws needed for the NFL position, guys like DJ Shockley, and Vince Young will likely end up as WR's in the NFL in my opinion.

Thats true about the reason Knight did it, it was funny stuff. Also I agree about Clark having alot of useful information, he just tries to hard to get scoops on kids. Especially like you said when he's ranking 5th graders etc, its absurd.

Also, Joe Krabbenhoft will be a very solid player for Wisconsin, as will Marcus Landry. Those are about the only two I have heard of, which doens't mean a thing because top 100-150 type players always come in and suprise people. Emeka Okafor was barely top 100 and was a backup recruit for UCOnn, before he improved tremendously over the summer and suprised everyone, Calhoun the most.

I have to disagree completely about Clark Francis. The man is a moron. He is the analyst that started hyping the made up recruit from Bob Knight. Bob made up a recruits name saying he would be a superstar and Clark started writing articles about the kid, talking about his game etc. He was REALLY embarrassed by his colleagues and has since been known a little as a clown. The best in the business according to alot of people is Dave Telep.
