UNC faces Tennessee tomorrow at 8:30 CST I believe. Should be a fun game to watch, both teams love to get out and run. Mcf**don, Watson, and Wingate are all solid players. We will see which UNC teams shows up, the one from SC or the one against BYU today.

Likely helps UNC receive the Tire bowl invite, Clemson was the main competition. I'm not too fond of this choice either, I applaud the severity of this, but it hurts not only SC and Clemson's players, but the rest of the ACC with the bowl money lost.

Hansen is definitely long and has good shot-blocking instincts. He could be a huge force in the paint with an added offseason in the weight room. Iowa looks like a tourney team to me. They have everything it takes, I'm not sure how much depth you guys have as this was the first time I've watched Iowa in 2 years, but you have very nice quards and nice post players. Now its time to watch Davidson upset "under-rated" Duke ;-). I love the fact that they keep praising K for turning down LA, while ignoring the fact that Roy Williams was offered the job first by Mitch Kupchek.

No prob, 14-3 run for Iowa in last 5 mins even with bad free throw shooting. I like Horner and Pierce, but Hansen(sp?) needs to gain some muscle to go along with his post skills.

Good game going on between Iowa and Louisville on ESPN2. Both teams are talented and its an even match so far with 13:35 to go.

Basically a fan coming onto the court is like someone walking into your work ready to assault you, you are supposed to just take it I suppose. The NBA's message here is. 1. Fans are free to batter players 2. Don't stick up for teammates. Detroit fans got exactly what they wanted. They incite Artest, get to fight the Pacers 20,000 on 12, then watch the opposing team torn apart from suspensions. Good message NBA.

You can go on and on and on with that, If the fan didn't throw the cup at Artest, none of it would have happened.

Good grief Jason, you should be a transcriber in court. I can get 110 as a programmer. On an odd note, my dad has been a programmer for 40 years and still is a pick and peck typer. Types with one finger while looking at the keyboard, its hilarious. Crimson, if you forget a period somewhere, it automatically counts everything else as wrong. Its weird.

Wallace went after Artest several times after the initial outburst. I gotta disagree about Wallace getting the punishment as if nothing else happened. Wallace's outburst was completely uncalled for and lead to the fans anger which incited the entire incident. Ask yourself this... Would the fans have been angry enough to throw a cup at Artest if Wallace hadn't gone after Artest for no reason? They were just trying to stick up for fan favorite Ben Wallace. Without Wallace's outburst, none of this would have happened.

Its pretty brilliant by Detroit actually. Have your player go off on another player, then have your fans finish it off. You get off relatively scotch free and your biggest foes in the Eastern Conf. get completely destroyed.

Zook will find another good job somewhere. But if Urban Meyer ends up at Florida, look out. They will be back in the top 5 in no time.

Well alot of guys with great sources in the past were posting that our AD was being re-assigned to another department and we were getting Matt Kupec to take over as UNC AD, they also said that "higher ups" were in negotations with Spurrier for a while, this was all before UNC upset Miami, when it was looking like UNC was going to be in for another miserable season. After the Miami game and with the bowl season wrapped up, the "talk" just kind of vanished. There are still some bitter UNC fans that can't accept that we didn't go all out for Spurrier. But they are going to have to get over it. Congrats on a great hire, you guys will be at the top of the SEC in 2 years. Hopefully we will be ok also.
