  1. Thank God I'm not the only one that feels that way.
  2. lol such bitterness towards the man who built your program into one that Self would jump at the chance to join. I love Kansas fans.
  3. I've been keeping an eye on our draft position, it would be hard to move down outside of Cleveland, I think the next closest to 74 wins was a group of teams at 68, so it looks like 14th might be the highest pick we get. Yipee.
  4. Saints Redskins Broncos Steelers Falcons Lions Packers Colts Chiefs Seahawks Cowboys Raiders Patriots Chargers Bengals ***Vikings***
  5. I know Darius Walker has been putting up good numbers and getting alot of hype at Notre Dame also.
  6. Jeez I don't know how I missed Maurice last year, he didn't red-shirt and did quite well apparently. I guess I can open this up to who's the best RB in the nation. I know Booker, Reggie Bush, KJ Harris, and Cedric Benson have to come into consideration. "A Freshman All-American as a kick returner in 2003, Drew also was the Bruins leading rusher, the first true freshman since DeShaun Foster in 1998 to lead UCLA in rushing. He rushed for 620 yards and 5 touchdowns, while returning two kickoffs for TD's, against Oklahoma and USC."
  7. There are quite a few talented freshmen runningbacks this year in college football. I'm trying to decide whether I like Maurice Drew or Adrian Peterson more. Peterson was the #1 RB recruit last year, but I saw Maurice play a few high school games. Maurice had 322 rushing yards today for UCLA, and Peterson had his 3rd straight 100 yard game for OU with 184 today. Maurice is the closest RB to Barry Sanders that I have seen since Barry retired. I think both of these kids can have as big or bigger of an impact than Maurice Clarett. UCLA isn't going anywhere likely, but Maurice will carry them for a few games. Any other talented RB's that I missed?
  8. Even as a UNC fan, I can't put UNC on top. I would atleast put WF and probably Kansas and maybe even GT above. UNC should be in the top 7, but they still have alot to prove.
  9. lol better than Jordan, Pele, Gretzky, Ruth, and Jim Brown huh? Thats a tough one to swallow.
  10. Don't worry greg, there will be season ticket holders next year. We get fooled every year into believing we are gonna win the division next year. Same song, different verse. 2nd place, and mediocre draft position. Someone needs to break us out of that cycle.
  11. As special as that numbers is. Its hard for me to write congratulations Barry. I just can't stand him, nor do I think he's clean. But what the heck, congrats Barry. Can't wait to hear your remarks when you pass the Babe. I'm sure it will be like "It wasn't much, Hank is what I'm going for". :rolly
  12. I'm hoping for a higher draft pick myself
  13. I can't see Florida making a run at the title. I'm not a big fan of Donovan's coaching ability, nor am I a fan of Anthony Roberson at all. As for the Big 12, Texas has unbelievable talent, although its young. By the end of the year, they could be as good as it gets. Oklahoma will be a very solid team also, I love watching Andrew Lavender and Kevin Bookout play. Not to mention they have a kid named Longar Longar now :-). Also watch out for Conference USA, they will have a good chance to be one of the top 3 conference this year in my opinion.
  14. I'm gonna be dissapointed if Mark doesn't put a fastball inside Torii's earhole. Too bad we have Konerko at first, by the time he got to the mound to help, the game would be over.
  15. Moving the fences back would definitely help with that too. Not only our current pitchers, but with free agent pitchers. Not many would want to pitch at the Cell right now. Its almost like signing with Colorado.
  16. It would be a good plan if and only if they move the fences back at the Cell. Otherwise other teams will take advantage of it with power and it will take away home field advantage for us. I can understand building a team full of speed to play in Detroits stadium, but with these current conditions it wouldn't be too smart in my opinion.
  17. Did he just say PTBNL for Herbert Perry was a loss????? Or did I misread.
  18. Nah, in yours we are still standing and actually make somewhat of a kick motion back at them.
  19. fathom you aren't the only one pissed. Outside of Buehrle, this team is full of pussies. Tori Hunter got the last laugh and was out there talking s*** again after the double. GOD this team is frustrating.
  20. That was too bad. I had visions of Carlos running out and ripping Johan's left arm off at that retaliation.
  21. I don't know what he did, but be glad he didn't pull a Plaxico Burress. Plaxico his rookie year with the Steelers, caught a pass over the middle. Got up, untouched, and spiked the ball in celebration. Cleveland I believe it was, picked up the ball and ran back a nice return.
  22. Wohoo, I'm the only one that voted with the Sox. I'm apparently thinking he will be invited to spring training and will have a good impact. Either that or I'm just ignorant. Don't answer.
