lol thanks, I have a knack for remembering just about everything I read. So it usually helps me with recruiting type stuff. I don't follow it as closely as I used to, due to girlfriend, school, and work and the fact the damn NBA takes away players after I follow them for years hoping they will commit to UNC, then watch their high school stats and cheer for them during their seasons, then right before they become Tar Heels, BAM the NBA takes them away. But no, I'm not bitter, not at all, no not me.

Yeah but Wright had a great AAU season and thats all that matters these days pretty much. Not to mention this 05 class is the weakest class in probably 10 years. The other most likely is Kareem and JaRon Rush's younger brother, Brandon Rush.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Kyle Wright start to get more and more of Berlin's playing time. He just doesn't fit in talent wise with the rest of the team. What a screwed up call to end the half, don't have a timeout and get one for free because your OT is calling for a TO you don't have. BRILLIANT!

Yeah its gonna be tougher than that though. Alvin Pearman has unreal speed, he was actually the only player in the nation last year to beat Xavier Carter in a race. Ran something like a 10.31 100M's. If they force Virginia into passing, then we have a chance. But UV's OLine is awesome and I'm afraid they will pound the ball down our throats. Chris Rix still doesn't know when to throw the ball away, jeez.

Makes me sick seeing all the speed on the field and knowing UNC will have to face both. We get a similarly talented team in Virginia tomorrow, yipee. We will see how that goes.

Didn't read the whole thread, so I hope I'm the first one to say FSU blowout ;-). I predicted 31-21 before it started. Miami just doens't compare very favorably to FSU this year, not to mention FSU will be wanting to defend their ACC dominance. I just don't see Miami winnning. If they do, FSU will be completely demoralized.

The Good News... Julian Wright is actually considered by many as the best player in the class. The Bad News... he is also considered one of the most likely to bolt to the NBA. But Self is recruiting on an elite level.

I love seeing Thornton fly around the field. What a great guy and a great story coming from UNC as a walk-on. He wasn't given anything in his career and worked his ass off to get where he is.

.215 average for Valentin, and he keeps on getting at bats. I don't know which is worse.

lol yeah I've never seen an announcer make a comment unless its a baby being shown. Hawk loves babies.

lol Tony, they do that in every game, and it has to be the MOST akward moment for announcers. I mean what do they say? "WOW she's hot!" then get smacked by their wife at home. Most just sit there in silence praying they will move on.

Atleast its not just our pitchers that don't have good MLB debuts Valdez can definitely run and is a bigger guy than I pictured in my head.

Good analysis, I picked Allen as the sleeper in our draft. His numbers didn't back me up. But with his power body build, and his athletic ability, I think he can be a very good player if things click.
