  1. For sure. You would just think one of the most veteran minor leaguers in the system who could conceivably see roster time this year make the final 58 players. That's a rough look.
  2. They really dont like Jordan Guerrero
  3. Narvaez literally could not catch the ball though. He could not be trusted to handle a younger pitching staff.
  4. Yeah. Imagine having to at least partially live in Philadelphia the next 13 years
  5. He was historically unlucky last year with regards to called strikes against him. We'll see if things can turn around.
  6. It's not. It's correct. Having this perfect insight into how this organization actually thinks is fascinating. Not for the right reasons, but still, it's great.
  7. Exactly the point. Kenny Williams honesty gives us insight into how inept our front office is. This is what they actually believe. It's great.
  8. Of course it is. Hahn is Baghdad Bob trying to defend these decisions. At least KW is a little honest or at least makes every completely inept decision they make burn all the more.
  9. Honestly a lot better than Hahn speak to the media.
  10. My father is part of a full season ticket plan. He only picked out 4 games for himself this year. He used to grab 30. Sox are still getting the same revenue of course. But I feel seeing someone like him do that, tickets are going to have to be basically free for people to come in. I think the Sox are in for a real rude awakening but we shall see. Right now the draw is baseball itself.
  11. I truly do hope it happens and that theres enough interest in getting it up. The Bulls one got national headlines and attention, albeit did not achieve their goal. I would expect something similar with the Sox but anything to get attention on the situation here.
  12. I agree. Hes got friends and businesses in Chicago too which should equate to something if the money is actually equal (and not 50 mil short)
  13. Need a moderator to ban @ron883 for 1 week per terms of our ban bet. Harper did not sign with Cubs http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?/topic/106699-nightengale-jr-has-talked-to-boras-no-offer-yet-submitted-for-harper-harper-thread-updates-in-first-post/&page=13&tab=comments#comment-3698732
  14. 13 years 350 million is 25 aav. Wow.
  15. AJ Preller is an awful GM who got us twice. Accept this and move on and stop the obsession.
  16. I think it's worse than an injury given how it's being reported. They cancelled planned media sessions this morning and had a team meeting where the players walked out "somber".
  17. Something going on in Red Sox camp according to media. Sounds grim but no real further news
  18. Preller has been an awful GM, no denying that other than stemming from delusion because he got us twice. Anyways, Sports Illustrated reporting on the Machado signing came to be. It was because their owner saw the $175 million dollar offer on TV, thought it was terribly lower than what it should be, and he thought he should get personally involved. Lol the 175 million dollar report than the White Sox so badly wanted out there cost them Machado.
  19. Oh I agree with that. I dont think he wants to go to Philadelphia but that's because its Philadelphia. Not because of Kapler.
  20. Lol if kapler made any difference here they would have fired him yesterday
  21. Happy birthday. It's also Reinsdorfs birthday. Shouldnt take a rocket scientist to put together your identity.
  22. First two were clear Sox wins and the last one was a clear Sox loss.
  23. Phillies fans have called bs on this
  24. You're living in a bubble here if you think that.
  25. Todd Frazier was a good player for us and roughly in line with expectations I'd say. Traded some average for power but still very quality player.
