I disagree. If he signs with the Sox they're going to do a lot of promotion with him at the Grate first. That said the security is 100% for the fan event tomorrow.

You can see the opposite play out in any entertainment or related futures bet with the same restrictions. Odds move violently at the end and end up being correct. Unlikely 1 single bet is moving anything.

It was speaking on money coming in to move the lines. Obviously more liquid, more efficient market is. But these lines have been up for 4 months now. 200 betting limit or not there should be a decent amount in there. It's like how they take pro wrestling odds. Odds remain 50/50 or whatever they may be, then right before the show someone flips to a huge favorite because someone in the know puts can make some money off it. Same situation here, if theres money to be made, there will likely be money on there to move the odds and make it an efficient market, even with the extreme limits.

I mean that's exactly why odds mean something and tend to be a very accurate predictor.

I would not say that at all. Theyve been connected to him more than anyone outside the Phillies. Harpers recruitment has been a lot more quiet in general than Mannys (not that either seems very active), but Sox have definitely been in the picture. Hell, it was their United Center presentation that really kicked off offseason mania.

Not really relevant. Sox have some big active online communities outside of Reddit. Cubs on the other had never had much of a online community pre-social media days despite their large fanbase. NSBB was the largest forum and that could be quite the ghost town even when the Cubs were good.

Anywhere east of i55 From Bridgeport to Tinley and east into Merriville/NW Indiana is all certifiably Sox territory.
