Could be but Kopech did end last year in AAA. He also had a full season of AA under his belt where Cease has 9 games. That said presumably he will start in AAA next year and if he keeps this up you cant do much about it.

Kopech hit AAA last year. The top pitching prospect in baseball need not spend 3 parts of seasons in AAA. Thats borderline ridiculous and probably would piss off people you dont want to piss off. Eloy has been in AAA less than 2 months. Much more justifiable. My only issue is this should have happened a few weeks ago.

Kopech will be 24 by the time hes called up. Pretty absurd in this day and age for the top pitching prospect in baseball.

Kopech should have absolutely been called up this year. And I think that was the plan but the fo got cold feet because of his early struggles. Then they got caught looking once he turned it on. Not a good look for the fo but may as well wait at this point.
