Wouldn't mind Frazier attempting one of his weird steals here

Not sure why Frazier is complaining. 2 pitches in the zone.

QUOTE (flavum @ May 13, 2016 -> 08:43 PM) Better than Stone. Hawk and Stone have always been bad together. Agreed and I love both on an individual level.

Sox are "only" -150 tonight. Go and bet your mortgage on that. And everything else you own. It's a stone cold lock that the sox win tonight

Abreu
His bat speed looks slower than the lightning quickness he used to have.

Sportscenter just did a good segment on the Sox success. Kicked it off with a lame Laroche segment but Kurkijan put that to bed. Have to imagine ESPN doing a longer segment on the Sox the same day they kickoff a series vs the Yankees isn't a coincidence, but I'll take it.

Jason >>>>>>>>>>> Hawk
QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 13, 2016 -> 11:06 AM) I'm not riled up. Nor do I hate him. I grew up listening to the guy. He's not good at his job anymore though. Is he paying you? You found those quotes awful fast like you have them saved them in a folder or something. I mean it was 20 minutes after you posted. It doesn't take nearly that long to use Google. Not sure where you're trying to go with that. Anyways, the point stands. Your bias is blinding you here. This is a non event at best.

Jason >>>>>>>>>>> Hawk
QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 13, 2016 -> 10:42 AM) LOL What? This is nonsense. I don't hate Hawk. Okay buddy whatever you say. Here's some quotes from you on Hawk. In reference to Hawk being gone: I'll stop there but there's more. Getting riled up over this non-event is lame. Accept you can't help but be biased against Hawk and move on.

Jason >>>>>>>>>>> Hawk
Anyone bashing Hawk for leaving the booth to check on Frazier is blinded by their hatred for Hawk well past the point of being reasonable.

I think it's just Webb. His 15 days is up today which is why they wouldn't have been able to announce anything yesterday.

Sox attended Lincecum showcase day - Angels expected to sign him
It'd be Lincecums camp using us. Not the Sox using the Sox.

Off day ruminations
Ill just say I think you guys have some short term memory. Yes, Robin is second guessed but every post was calling for his head by the middle of last year (I know because I made 100s of those posts). There was legitimate traction on this site to trade Sale and blow up the entire organization. Theres still some of those posts yeah but nowhere near the level what it once was. Game threads are always going to be inherently negative.

Off day ruminations
QUOTE (Tony @ May 12, 2016 -> 04:51 PM) Not according to the game threads. The game threads have been significantly better spirited than in years past. That's probably the single best sign they're winning.

Hector Sanchez to Padres
Both guys are capable of being full time catchers in what's already a thin market. Can't imagine that being a target come the trade deadline. And I think our depth will be fine as long as Smith comes back healthy. Sanchez was our 4th string catcher, it's not often you have to go to that. Avila tends to get injured from a strong gust of wind but I think we will be fine.
