  1. QUOTE (flavum @ May 6, 2015 -> 10:16 PM) Detroit Sucks chant. Hockey fans. Keep it. Pretty sure it started from the Bulls - Pistons rivalry even if nhl fans have stolen it since. Either way, a nice way to drown out the let's go tigers chants.
  2. QUOTE (flavum @ May 6, 2015 -> 10:13 PM) Classy 18000. Damn right. That was great
  3. Why is he still pitching
  4. Now we get the bullpen up?
  5. Simon has nothing. End him
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ May 6, 2015 -> 07:54 PM) What happened Hit it really hard to CF But hung up just enough.
  7. Game 1 I was telling my friend how unbelievable it was James Jones was still in the league. Seems like he's played 20 years and essentially never been good. I think he heard me. Ugh
  8. I'd totally pitch out of the zone to avi on a full count
  9. Woj, probably the most respected beat writer in any sport today, says Thibs is done with the Bulls come season's end. I think that's a great indication that the rift is massive.
  10. Didn't think he caught it in real time
  11. Per Dan Hayes
  12. I haven't even had a chance to turn on the game. Good god.
  13. This feels like the best Raw in years. Did they get new writers?
  14. The team had a tremendous amount of sex last night
  15. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 4, 2015 -> 09:08 AM) Robin was working for the White Sox when he was hired. It is amazing being "groomed" for the position didn't include actually coaching or managing, and included letting him interview to be Boston's hitting coach and Tampa Bay's manager. Just more of the grass is greener..... He was working what, a few months in minors? I wouldn't say it's at all the same. There's a reason everyone predicted Counsell to get the job while no one had any idea about Ventura.
  16. Counsell was being groomed for a spot ever since he retired. If we hire another high school volunteer, I imagine people will indeed be pissed. If we hire Dave Martinez I don't think they will be.
  17. He's been getting groomed for the job since he retired though. That's how you handle it, not like we did with Ventura.
  18. I feel like this is a lot more of Hahn's team then people want to admit. Kenny is the boogeyman to this board.
  19. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ May 2, 2015 -> 08:13 PM) Gardenhire seems to be the flavor of the month since fathom started saying it. What ever happened to Dave Martinez ? Everybody was hot for him at one time when he was Maddons bench coach. Once he didn't get the Rays job this year there was a consensus there must be something wrong with him that can't be seen on the surface.
  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 2, 2015 -> 07:46 PM) Not based on his work this year. He doesnt have the temperamental makeup to survive media questioning him for more than 2-3 weeks, he's pretty much the anti Maddon/Showalter/Francona in that aspect. Who cares about his work this year? He's been with the Sox 27 years. One month doesnt mean anything. Extremely successful track record despite given no payroll to work with. Cooper absolutely deserves to finish out the year as manager, and make a decision from there, at the very least. The makeup is bulls***. Ozzie survived long enough here and he's way worse than Coop when it comes to that. It's actually helpful for a team with 0 national media exposure otherwise.
