  1. HBK staring at Cena thinking about how he's delivered better promos high. Bad start to Raw. But Rusev vs Swagger, Usos vs Rhodes, Cena vs Wyatt. Nice card tonight.
  2. Cena vs Bray tonight on Raw. Something tells me this won't end well. Cena needs to go over to legitimize himself again.
  3. QUOTE (TRU @ Aug 25, 2014 -> 12:56 PM) Not a fan. Although I don't play standard leagues, if your RBs hold up and Leveon Bell doesn't miss major time with a looming suspension it could be pretty nice. Wes Welker got his third concussion in what, 10 months? Who knows what you would get from that guy going forward, hes undraftable to me now. Jackson is too inconsistent. And as said already, Newton is banged up and has very little offensive weapons. Although, I guess you could say thats always been true about him. And I cant stress this enough, but people please go for upside with your bench. What does Shonn Greene, Legerrette Blount, and Chris Ivory offer you? They have no upside, where as guys like Carlos Hyde and Devonta Freeman are one broken down RB in front of them from becoming impact workload guys. Justin Hunter is going way late in drafts, he has 30 career catches in the preseason and regular season, 8 of them have gone for TDs. Hes a guy who could explode this year, Riley Cooper doesnt have the upside that a Justin Hunter has. Just my two cents. Yeah I took some risks with Newton and Welker. Newton should be ready for week 1. I got him as the 7th QB so I'm more than happy with that. He'll have top 4 value if he's healthy. He so far has been. Welker I think will be just a monster with Decker gone if he does stay healthy. We'll see. I always look to go 3 straight rbs to open the draft in standard, as long as im not reaching. It's such a different beast than ppr. RB thins out way too quickly so i was happy with Lynch, Bell and Morris. Greene is terrible. I took him because he's the lead back in Tennessee and should get plenty of touches. Chris Ivory is actually good, but Johnson is handicapping him. Either way I'm more than happy to grab Ivory a few rounds later than Johnson. Carlos Hyde I like but he went earlier than I expected. Devonta Freeman is a hot name which is funny since as it stands now he's a 4th string rb and will be at best be in a committee only if the number 1 rb goes down. No thanks. Justin Hunter is fine but no way should you draft someone based on td to catch ratio. It should be the opposite, a cause for concern. Riley Cooper I love love love this year. WR is thin for a beastly Philadelphia offense. Him and Maclin are going to get a ton of looks with no one behind them. Especially true for Cooper if/when Maclin goes down. I like Terrance West a lot. Tate will get hurt. West has the size to be a workhorse and Cleveland should be running it a lot given their situation.

  5. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Aug 22, 2014 -> 10:13 PM) I hadn't realized that the source of the "orbital blowout fracture" was The Dumbest Man on the Internet, Jim Hoft. Turns out he crudely doctored some xray scan he found on the internet. http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/43...ick_His_Readers I agree his report is bunk and his site is just awful but I don't think he ever claimed that was Wilson's scan. He actually linked to the website the image is from. I think he was just trying to show what an orbital fracture was. Also I believe Fox, independent of that, reported the same injury. Take that, um, fwiw.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 22, 2014 -> 10:06 PM) It's amazing how nearly every pitcher has underachieved this year, yet Cooper receives very little criticism on here. People probably just love his radio interviews. He still does a lot with a little. We spend about the fewest on a rotation in the game. Not much on the pen either. Noesi was the worst pitcher in mlb before we picked him up. Carroll has no business in mlb. He sucks but better than you can expect. Q continues to exceed expectations. Sale is top 3 pitcher in the AL. Danks he has failed with this year but it's probably hard for him to coach up a veteran. I'll give him a pass there. The bullpen he pulled two rabbits out of his ass with Petrika and especially Putnam. These join the long list classic Cooper examples. Of course he's completely failed Daniel Webb. The veterans too, but that's tough. Obviously I agree with you on Santiago. The Sox failed him.
  7. Thank god Prado has no plan whatsoever. K him
  8. I smell a walk off walk. Prove me wrong
  9. Funny you live in China and can't see the danger here. That's like ground zero for insane knife attacks. Last night 7 people were stabbed in an attack. Couple weeks ago 100 people died in a mass knife attack. And on and on and on. It's like a reoccurring event there.
  10. QUOTE (flavum @ Aug 21, 2014 -> 06:38 PM) Considering it's a PTBNL or cash, I'm thinking it's a low level prospect that they'll decide on later, or they just take the money...which I can't even think of what the amount would be. Well I imagine it's the full amount so like 700k or we would have dumped him for it. I imagine Hahn said if you're worried about paying him you can try to entice us with a prospect. Given it's a small amount of cash for the Angels and it being Beckham, likely no one great but maybe we can get a lotto ticket.
  11. So I'm guessing Angels ptbnl is on their 40 man? Any guesses?
  12. Anyone dangerous within 21 feet with a knife approaching you, you should shoot.

  14. We better be. We can't waste Abreu MVP and Sale's Cy Young years any longer.
  15. Cesaro was doing commentary last night in main event to test for the Germans announce team as well as feud over the US title.
  16. Had an amazing game defensively. No surprise there. He's just a beast in CFer. Hitting .333 with an ops over .800 since getting called up and getting regular playing time. I still want him part of the team going forward. His defense is too good to pass up. lol at the haters.
  17. Huh, he literally grabbed the clerk by the neck.
