They did, it’s just Gio was a lemon. They were never gonna pay for two big starters.

They need another veteran starter, IMO. We also have no idea how pitchers will hold up next year after the rushed season.

He didn’t exactly pan out, but when Cubs were in same spot as Sox after 2015, they went out and got Heyward and weren’t afraid to shake things up and get Zobrist. I hope Hahn hasn’t fallen in love with the prospects.

Sox should be a team players want to come to and contend. No more having to pay a “we suck” tax. I will be disappointed if Q and Joc are the main adds.

I never want to see a 5:10 start again. That Indians series just torpedoed the season, especially essentially ending Eloy’s year

Sure some team might take a chance on him as back-up catcher/DH. I just don’t think it will be with the Sox.

Dunning had nothing three straight games. He missed or hung just about every pitch. I loved the move by Ricky, but Dane should have never started. Clearly the Sox had no faith in him.
