Honestly his fastball looks more like 2018 than 2019.

Mendick and Leury have done a great job, but this team was always one lefty utility bat short. Sadly, the Sox went cheap and then also favored Delmonico.

This is where injuries/lack of depth is killing them. You can’t expect Mendick to hit this guy.

I know he’s great, but these hitters act like they’ve never seen a breaking ball. They’ve been destroyed by average guys so far this year.
