  1. I’m the opposite, I want a big gun outside of the organization to provide some power.
  2. Sure, but watching him play every game, the majority of his errors have been on routine plays.
  3. Anyone saying it’s been a bad year for the rebuild is insane. Coming into the season, these were the following players that really mattered going forward.... Moncada, Robert, Eloy, Giolito, Lopez, Cease, Robert, Madrigal Of that group, 5 of them have had great years and 3 have underachieved. That’s not bad considering how uncertain these talents were. I’m more concerned about the coaching in this organization than the talent right now.
  4. Yep definitely better than expected. Eloy is worse IMO due to his noodle arm. The more I watch other teams, the more I realize how bad McCann and Castillo are at framing.
  5. Yeah I feel I’m watching a different game than others. I’ve never watched him and thought “omg, his arm is incredible”. I still think it would do wonders for him to learn how to do the old Rey Ordonez slide and throw.
  6. Rather see Mercedes get some at bats. Truly no reason we should ever see Castillo and Skole after tonight.
  7. Wonder what Manny’s excuse will be tonight? He’s no Arrieta
  8. Teams they are playing are much better. The offense though has completely disappeared.
  9. Stoney seems like he wants this season done with. He was very annoyed with another Garcia blunder.
  10. Considering the Sox are dead last in hitting the ball into the air, sure....I am confident in saying he needs to work on his swing path.
  11. Pathetic by Eloy. Elevate the freaking ball and stop swinging like Avi from 5 years ago. Don’t worry, he raked in AAA
  12. So according to Steverson, Eloy doesn’t have to change much because of the success he had in AAA. God is this organization stupid, and it’s no surprise why so many guys struggle out of the gate. https://chicago.suntimes.com/platform/amp/white-sox/2019/9/2/20845300/eloy-jimenez-batting-245-with-22-homers-says-hes-going-to-be-better?__twitter_impression=true
  13. I agree, but as you see this year, you will get left in the dust if you don’t adjust.
  14. Just exposing how antiquated their offensive and defensive approach is. Not a single coach should be retained once the season ends.
  15. Cooper is doing a great job having these guys ready. What is this, an average of about 4 runs allowed in the first inning the last week? This team has quit
  16. Eloy’s swing/stance needs significant changes this offseason. He’s way too easy to pitch to.
