High fastball and Eloy pounds it into the ground. I’m thrilled the organization is considering fixing his stance/swing, as he reminds me so much of Avi his first few years.
Robert has many of the same holes Eloy does at the plate. Struggles with velocity up and in and chases any and all sliders. Madrigal shouldn’t have a big adjustment.
Or the coaches are too stubborn to preach launch angle. You can’t tell me the Twins or Astros wouldn’t excel at getting Eloy to elevate instead of pounding the ball into the ground.
