Found this about concussion protocol: Protocol requires that a player be evaluated 48 hours after sustaining the head trauma before a diagnosis is determined.

I'm not worried about that...just hope it doesn't become one of those lasting concussion issues.

why though, it was clear to anyone watching that he was injured all last year (our training staff blew it with him). Considering that he was great in 2017 and showed power last year despite the knee/hamstring issues, it was definitely worth the risk of seeing what he could do in a non-contending season.
