Don’t lump me in with those thinking the rebuild is doomed though. I’ve been saying all year this season is overall a positive so far. Biggest thing is adding talented free agents this offseason to offset a lot of the prospect depth we’ve lost due to injuries and stagnation (any minor league pitcher besides Cease and any minor league outfielder besides Robert)

Don’t buy the excuses. The Sox thought Manny’s camp was bluffing and they didn’t have a 300 offer, IMO. It was a blown negotiation, end of story.

How about the front office remove the relic of a pitching coach that has consistently produced bad staffs the last 6 years or so and seemingly refuses to accept how baseball is played now? When I made the post, that was more of what I was focusing on when I said there is no real hope for actual change.

Probably not a lot of team’s message boards are going to take kindly to everything Yonder represents in terms of organizational failure. He’s lucky he’s with the Sox. Most fan bases would be booing the hell out of him.
