  1. pull him, seems like he aired it out last inning.
  2. hey hey, good inning throwing free and easy!
  3. Nice recovery by Giolito after being flustered
  4. to be fair, I'm not sure how anyone hits that Tampa team. They're the best team I've seen this year.
  5. Wow, shocked that went out. Nice response from the offense.
  6. Sounds like Hansen has good velocity but little command.
  7. If the ball is so juiced, as Stoney says, might be wise to try and get more strikeouts.
  8. No doubt in my mind he would put up 3rd highest WAR amongst the hitters.
  9. His curveball had a neg 8.5 value last year according to fangraphs. That's just about the worst value I've seen anyone have for an offspeed pitch. Instead of having a plus curve, he has a below average curve.
  10. Really hope for Hope for his sake he gets traded to a contender. He looks disinterested and deserves to be on a contender.
  11. Rodon is a starter, just not an ace. He still has a plus pitch. You can’t say anyone else on the staff has an above average pitch.
  12. Fastball at 92 now. Cooper is the best!
  13. probably more accurate than saying Giolito has good stuff.
  14. At this rate, he won't be in the rotation next year. Stone seems to hate watching him pitch.
  15. Just because a curve drops a lot doesn't mean it's good. We've seen enough from Giolito to know his curve isn't like Gavin Floyd's where hitters are fooled with it.
  16. Cabrera threw way harder and had a wipeout slider.
  17. Just because someone says “JR wants to win” doesn’t mean it’s really true. Actions speak louder than words, and he sure doesn’t seem to be putting his organizations in the best chance to succeed.
  18. and you would probably say Giolito is the most talented player on the roster still Could play this game all night. Let's just drop it and hope for the best with Lucas.
  19. Lucas, stop worrying about soxtalk and go get ready for the bottom of the 2nd
  20. Keep comparing the best pitchers of a generation to one of the worst pitchers in baseball. Really does a great job of proving your point.
