Agreed but also when you have the noticeable grimace/velocity drop, how was no one going out to check on him?

With regards to seams, he really is struggling with the changeup. He threw that one great one vs Twins, but it seems a majority of the ones he throws fade up and to the right way out of the zone. That's a pitch he will hopefully get more comfortable with in future seasons.

Wouldn't his main job be to get them to perform well?

He was consisntely 97 the last month in the minors and now he's 93-95 in the majors. They even said on the broadcast the focus tonight was on command.
