If it makes you feel worse, it was probably his least competitive at bat of the year. Faked a bunt on fastball down the plate and then severely overmatched by two high fastballs. Yolmer wasn't much better.

Pretty much guarantee he says he likes Adolfo, Gonzalez ceiling is everyday outfielder and Rutherford still sucks (not saying I agree)

96-98 in the first two innings, 92-95 in the 3rd according to tweets. I assume he got pulled just due to ineffectiveness.

I don't think milb game day is very accurate with their balls and strikes. Been watching games live sometimes and have game day up and any ball will be put on the border.

His throws have been fine. He's had more difficulty with his decision making than expected, but that's due to inexperience. I don't consider his range to be anything special.

Said it about a month ago, but there is no doubt Hahn and company thought they would be more competitive this year. He was on every radio station this offseason saying how Sox would be quiet but the next offseason (after this season) would be exciting.

Kopech command awful again. Has walked 4 and counting in the first. I really don't see how he's going to go more than 3-4 innings in the majors right now

They just showed Ian Hamilton highlights after the Sox game. The gun at Charlotte had him at 97, and we know it's not a hot gun.

Unfortunately he's nothing special defensively at 3rd. I'm sure other teams would potentially put him at 2nd where his glove is much, much better.
