going as expected

Nice pitch! Would love to see them have Bummer go 2 innings.

This would be his last inning for me, but I know there's like a 5% chance of that happening.

I remember being told a month before it was announced that it was a done deal to the Cubs. Could have been #scoopcity for me

well yeah, he hasn't adjusted to the new style of launch mode in baseball. It's similar to how the Bulls tried to adopt a slow style and didn't utilize the 3 point shot.

Best sequence in weeks for Lopez

Yep, you've seen a lot of the same at bats I've seen him have in the minors. I just want him to swing if it's close with 2 strikes, as too often he resembled Yoan from last year.

He took an ungodly number of called 3rd strikes in the minors

his swing is just so amazingly long

As long as he swings

nice swing, hard contact

He doesn't admire the grounders, he just doesn't get out of the box quickly when he hits it to the left side. On pitches he's leaning over and hits to the right side, he flies down the line.

Yep, made good pitches to Mazara. I feel like Bummer could give two good innings against this lineup tonight.

110 pitches for Cease

Oh look, another hanger

Nice cheap hit for Eloy

Nice catch, crappy AB

Kinda fun having 4 of the 9 hitters in lineup possibly be part of the core going forward

But Texas will pound that fastball if he keeps missing his spot by 6 inches.

Hanger...hanger...hanger

He's not getting on top of anything. His slider is atrocious also, as they almost always hang on the insider corner to righties.

My god his changeup freaking sucks.

COLLINS! What a bomb

agreed, I think he would really struggle with his command in the majors right now

Cease is giving the Sox no reason to call him up right now.
