  1. Hard to tell, as we won't even recognize the roster if that time comes
  2. This is a very dumb, poorly coached team
  3. He started off the year so well defensively. Now he's making the Madrigal decision seem easy
  4. Infield defense will get tested a ton with covey on the mound
  5. Soto is an incredible offensive talent

Good point in terms of perception of casual Sox fan. Hard for them to get excited about rebuild when they see Moncada really struggling. I doubt the casual fan cares how Dunning is doing in AA.
  7. I assume you mean the men's? If so, I agree
  8. More like it's hard to believe Machado is all of a sudden going to change the way he plays leading up to a huge contract (especially with his history of lower body injuries). And don't get me wrong, I respect the superstars like Jeter who always hustled. I just believe if we all focused on star players around the majors, we would be surprised at how many loaf (for example, Lindor would have been benched all 4 games last week by Ricky)
  9. Fastball still dropped to 91 range after about 50 pitches and lefties seemed to get great swings off of him. Basically what we saw vs Jacksonville but he's facing a really good offense.
  10. If anyone else saw it, Russell grounded out to end the game. It was one of the laziest runs I've ever seen.
  11. Still happy Sox didn't take Singer. Also, it was Schnell that Guff went with Hostetler to see play before draft.
  12. Yes, and as for Alexa.... overall, happy I didn't spend the money to go to this. Men's mitb wasn't memorable
  13. Manny doesn't exactly bust it out of the box. There were a few documented issues over past few years.
  14. How do you know this is a 60 win team? Clearly no team with Machado would ever struggle Also I'm sure Manny would love being benched for not running out a ball when his team is 30 games out of first place and he's trying to stay healthy for a 300 mil contract.
  15. Well at least Sox have a great reputation for developing young hitters. Oh well, Happy Fathers Day to all.
  16. Yep, Trayce has to bat because Renteria made a stupid lineup.
  17. Another awful at bat. Can Frank be his hitting coach, because Steverson is obviously not getting through to him.
  18. Screw Reinsdorf, Gardenhire is the real owner of the WSox
  19. Also, unless I'm missing someone, today's roster construction made it impossible for anyone to replace the trio of minor leaguers in the outfield.
  20. Can they both lose please. One should go play football, the other basketball.
  21. Awful at bat for Moncada. Really disappointing how much he's pulling off the ball without seemingly try to make adjustments. Gonna be a long series for him in Cleveland against Bauer, Clevinger and Kluber
  22. Please let this be the last game we ever have to suffer with this exact trio in the outfield. Engel looks like he forgot how to hit once again.
  23. Been real impressed with his knowledge of players around the league
  24. The guy I talk about velocity the most is Lopez, who had question marks about his ability to maintain velocity as a starter due to his size. He's done a solid job of maintaining, but you still see games where he loses 3-4 mph from the first to sixth inning. That is not very common amongst starters. On the other hand, you have Rodon who starts games 91-92 and ramps up to 94-96. Problem is over last couple of years, he's been absolutely shelled when his velocity is low.
  25. Smith swings a magic wand. Also Frank has been superb
