Does Jabari automatically get the last guy announced in starting lineup status?

Looking at some of the garbage the Nats are starting, Shields makes a ton of sense for them sooner rather than later.

Absolute joke.

Truly amazing how much this coaching staff sucks. Can't wait until they are all replaced.

Of course, has to allow more runners before they wake up. No reason in the world to push him but they will.

Bullcity on twitter, is that you?

Hopefully off tomorrow and then back next Friday. Just hope Ricky doesn't have him steal

Definitely seems to be the ball hitting him caused the injury

Agreed, if they were worried about structural damage, then you would hope it was a cart.

What a bunch of idiots on this team. Can't even handle a normal relay

It could easily be a contusion and he's back Friday. Reminds me of Yolmer play from a few weeks ago

Please be a contusion. This is the season from hell

Good for Ricky, this ump sucks

Hopefully he gets to use an aluminum bat or trained with Bonds. If not, he's just another replacement level guy. I do laugh that LaMarre seems to be a righty Tilson in terms of weak contact.

Never seen so many low fastball called 3rd. Another example of the players not making adjustments.

Two good righty at bats for Yoan

93/93/91/94 was what tv had first 4 pitches at

Or maybe he needs to be focused out of the gate, as 4 mediocre fastballs led to a quick 2 runs against him. With that said, 11 swinging strikes so far is huge for him.

Great catch by Yolmer

Once again Lopez looks to have nothing. Fastball 91-94 in the first inning. Sox might want to take it easy on him after the workload so far this year.

I like his swing, seems to generate good bat speed

Another one

He is just crushing the ball

Wow that was close to an amazing tank job.

Defense continues to be a total disaster. Whenever Yolmer has to rush his decision, you see the inexperience catch up to him.
