  1. QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 03:46 AM) I've watched every Cleveland playoff game but one and they have impressed me more than the Cubs have this postseason to be honest. Whether or not they can sustain that level of play is obviously the big question, but if they do they will give the Cubs all they can ask for. Indians offense kinda struggled though against Toronto. Naquin swinging an invisible bat.
  2. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 02:38 AM) We're witnessing history, folks. This will never be forgotten in Chicago sports history and the history of baseball. Get ready to remember where you were when the Cubs won the pennant. No riots in Chicago. Hope all the old people in the stadium get home safely. Truly think it means very little if they don't win it all
  3. QUOTE (Deadpool @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 03:29 AM) Oh, fathom. Life wouldn't be complete without you and your butthurt attitude. And you only posting when Cubs are winning. But please keep acting like you aren't rooting for them like crazy. It's entertaining
  4. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 02:25 AM) Cub fans sure didnt want to see Henricks leave that game. That gasp from the crowd was pretty cool when Maddon left the dugout. You sure it wasn't their fans ducking in case Chapman tried to shoot them?
  5. Wonder if ABC will cut away from good football game for the celebration?
  6. QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 01:56 AM) I'm at a party tonight full of cubs fans. It's more painful than watching the game. Sorry buddy
  7. QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 02:46 AM) More pain. At least this game wasn't close
  8. It's gonna be awkward when Blanton is in the Cubs locker room drinking champagne after the game
  9. QUOTE (Footlongcomiskeydog @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 02:29 AM) So I guess it is time to start talking about a Cleveland versus Chicago World Series. This Dodgers team is absolute toast. Kluber in game 1 is a must win game for Indians IMO. At least Indians have some speed to go against Lester
  10. Kershaw has nothing tonight unfortunately. I'm sure Tomlin and Merritt will be way better
  11. Rajai Davis looks like the best player in history vs the sox. I won't be pleased if he looks awful vs the Cubs.
  12. Thanks again Jerry for being too cheap to sign Fowler this past offseason
  13. Horrible defense, horrible base running and Joc swinging and missing. Seen this a lot
  14. Nice of Kershaw to not use his curve a lot against a team that struggles against it
  15. Dodgers defense is a total joke. What a choke job by them the last three
  16. QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 12:22 AM) I believe this was the same in game 2. Wind was blowing in I thought. Definitely held up Baez deep fly
  17. amazing how much momentum changed in this series ever since the BS replay call against Gonzalez at home. Oh well, save us Indians
  18. Wind blowing out seems like a bad break for the Dodgers
  19. Wow Cubs considering activating Schwarber if they make the WS
  20. QUOTE (SonofaRoache @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 05:21 AM) The Cubs becoming a championship contender has ruined the Sox. Fans wont stick around for a rebuild or more BS seasons when there is a much better option miles away. This organization is at a dead end. Did you see the data on Sox/Cubs fan based off of Facebook information that was retweeted by Bernstein the other day? Cubs nation has taken over even the south suburbs. Goes to show how incredible dumb people on here are that think the Cubs being awesome isn't bad for the Sox.
  21. QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 05:00 AM) Dodgers and Giants have looked terrible Both those teams are very top-heavy with their elite talent. Reminds me of the Sox but the Sox lack the "average" depth those teams have.
  22. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 04:37 AM) Playoff baseball is pretty horrendous to watch Games have been pretty boring. That Indians series was painful to watch. Basically the team that scores first is winning every game
  23. Awful performance
  24. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 03:29 AM) Some more pathetic defense by the Dodgers Been very sloppy in their losses in the field and on the bases.
  25. QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 04:22 AM) This is what several of us suggested earlier concerning Kershaw. You HAD to pitch Kershaw. If you lose, you lose with best and by then it'll all but be done anyway. If you win with him Dodgers are 3-2 going into Wrigley, which is obviously different than down 3-2 with Kershaw going on the road in an elimination game. Yes, even with Kershaw it may have still been the same score. I just feel it was a risk I wouldnt take I really wonder if deep down they felt they would struggle to even score a run against Lester and didn't want to waste Kershaw? It would be a playing not to lose mentality....but so is not pitching him tonight
