Offense just has too many bad hitters getting a lot of at bats. Also, why Petricka over Albers or Jones? Figures for me that AJax is awful. Always was one of my most hated athletes.

1 hit thru 3.

QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 07:45 PM) Austin Jackson needs to spend some "time in the weight room" with Melky Cabrera. He could use a little "strength training"... Needs to use the whole field more. He's pulling off everything causing him to hit everything off the end of the bat despite being on the pitch.

QUOTE (JoshPR @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 06:42 PM) Avi needs to go to charlotte. Clear his mind a lil. Save him while theres hope Couldn't agree more. With him having an option left, it seems like such an obvious solution.

Avi is just so lost at the plate. Hate they keep wasting outs with him.

Stay hot Melky!

Rodon's slider is down 3 mph this year. Hopefully this is on purpose and not a result of fatigue from last season (despite the Sox managing his innings well).

of course Desmond hurts the Sox

Let's see if an 87 mph dominates them today

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 06:24 PM) good god Jose is f***ing awful right now. He's not even close on anything offspeed and his bat is way, way late on fastballs. Give Abreu tomorrow off if he stinks again today.

It's like Abreu forgot that hitting to right field is allowed. 2-0 slider and grounds out softly to the pitcher.

Hope Rodon comes out throwing hard and with a good slider instead of aiming the ball

QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 05:23 AM) If the Sox drafted him, I wouldn't be upset. I would be, SEC teams are crushing him

QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 04:35 AM) Nice job by Sanchez and Coats homering in the 9th. Adams had an early 9-0 lead. Maybe a little let up, and he challenged guys. I wouldn't read into this start too deep. Adams did face the superstar Red Sox affiliate

Dakota Hudson's season has imploded

Raburn dominating again this year. I don't get why no one went after him harder.

Eaton's jump on this rocket was great

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 23, 2016 -> 03:55 AM) Most posters, I'd assume you were joking. But as you're typically so dour... really? Adams has been doing quite well so far. Nope, serious. All his peripherals have been great in his minor league career except hits allowed. His command might be too good and throws too many strikes.

Absolutely love Eaton in RF

Q collapsing

Two rockets off Q. Just need to avoid big inning

Navarro must feel like there are 12 guys on defense

Thanks for not walking him and bringing in the righty

Yes Lawrie

Huge AB for Lawrie here
