fathom

Bonifacio trying to join Paniagua as the worst Sox player of all time.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 19, 2015 -> 07:28 PM) Imagine this is the last time we see Drabek. He's nearly given up two HR in this inning. Petricka was on a plane to Chicago today

Hate watching Flowers bat against righties.

Let Bonifacio pitch the 8th

The newly acquired players have been solid. Problem is so many of the players from last years team have really sucked so far.

Was that foul?

QUOTE (TitoMB @ Apr 19, 2015 -> 07:45 PM) i kind of hope he is hurt.. otherwise what the hell happened? Why would you want him hurt? Much rather it's just a slump.

Q is just awful right now. Everything up in the zone. Just hope he's not hurt.

Just like many predicted, the Padres defense is awful.

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Apr 19, 2015 -> 06:25 PM) One was bad base running but yeah, these guys have to swing at their pitches and foul off the pitcher's pitches. Abreu has struggled with this

Can we trade Samardzija for Greene

Sad effort today

Seems like he owns us. Meanwhile Porcello has given up 5 homers this year.

Last year, Q did an astonishing job of limiting homers. This year, he's already given up a slam and 3 run homer. I'm not worried about him being starting caliber, but being a top 20 pitcher might be pushing it.

QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 19, 2015 -> 06:09 PM) Meanwhile, Greene for Detroit is at 43 pitches in 3 innings, after ANOTHER Eaton dribbler out. Just an incredible acquisition for Detroit.

Even our successful plays show dumb decisions. Why is he looking back?

At least Alexei saw two pitches that AB

QUOTE (Condor13 @ Apr 19, 2015 -> 05:59 PM) Yup, except I believe that Rodon is easily a number 3 starter RIGHT NOW if not a number 2. So if he gets called up now we have a true ACE at number 1, an above average number 2, an above average number 3, and then 2 pitching machines throwing batting practice. Which means they suck

QUOTE (JoshPR @ Apr 19, 2015 -> 06:54 PM) Get him out ta there!!!!!!!!!! Screw that, make him work on his pitches. This team won't win 75 games unless he can be a number 4 starter.

QUOTE (Condor13 @ Apr 19, 2015 -> 06:53 PM) From what I have seen so far this year, I would much rather have Rodon replace Q then Danks or Noesi Basically what your saying is our pitching sucks.

I'm shocked the 91 mph fastball isn't getting it done

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 19, 2015 -> 06:52 PM) Man alive what happened to Jose this year. No confidence in offspeed stuff. Right now he's a pitching machine with an average fastball that has no movement.

Hey look at fastball. Eaton just freaking sucks.

QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 19, 2015 -> 06:48 PM) It's going to be interesting to see the standings in three weeks once this heavy division period is over with. 16-15 would be taken in a heartbeat. Gonna be tough with the great pitching in the division outside of Minnesota

What I don't get is why so many fastballs called by Flowers when Q is clearly lacking in fastball crispness this year?
