QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 06:16 PM) This is the shark I was expecting day one. He's playing with fire if he keeps hanging everything.

Ha, where was the 1-0 pitch to Cespedes?

Wow, Beckham!!

Just an FYI, but Sanchez with 3 errors already in AAA

Really nice play by Beckham. How about a double play??

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 06:03 PM) We spent 4M on Emilio? He's going to be off this team by July

And another bad defensive play. Bonifacio's defense is absolutely atrocious. He's just a waste of a roster spot right now, as he's completely out of it this season.

His offspeed pitches are freaking terrible. He's not close to having the wipe out splitter he had last year to start the season.

QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 05:56 PM) What the hell was that pitch? Umpires seem worse than ever this season

That 2-2 pitch to Abreu wasn't close.

Maybe I remember Melky just destroying the Sox, but his swing as a righty looks awful now. Seems to chop almost everything.

QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 05:50 PM) Why wouldnt you? See if he can keep making barehanded plays. I'm betting he cant do it all the time. If the bunts were bad, I'd agree. But after two perfect bunts resulted in outs, I'd rather scrap that game plan and swing away or bunt it towards Castellanos.

Nice AB for Eaton!

Stop testing Price!

Ha, that 3-2 pitch to Beckham was significantly better than the 3-0 pitch to Alexei. Beckham looked good in that AB.

That 3-0 to Alexei wasn't a strike

QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 05:28 PM) It would be fun to see Sale and Price back to back Sale and Rodon back to back is a good consolation prize

QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 05:27 PM) I'm no one has called Shark an ace. Certainly not me. He's a solid 2 Cubs did a great job of marketing him as one last year

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 05:26 PM) Prices deal on the free agent market would be something like $50 to $100 million more than Samardjizas. Also a LOT of innings on Price's arm.

AVI!! Made it look easy

QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 05:24 PM) I'd rather get Price than sign Shark. But that's just me playing with Jerrys money. My prediction is Price stays in Detroit, Cueto to Red Sox and Cubs get Zimmermann

I wonder if someone is tipping off the pitches from the stands again

Some luck that inning, but Sox were due for it. Got to get the bats going.

Lucky he fouled that off, doesn't get much more meatball than that.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 05:19 PM) Nice job by Abreu and Ramirez on that pick Thought he was out at first Sure looked like he was out
