Oh believe me, I get why everyone thinks JR and the Sox org sucks. I originally have 50,000 posts saying the same thing. Again, it’s all my opinion, but the hyperbole since it happens has been mind blowing to me. We all know this franchise is doomed until there’s a new owner.

On the field stuff is really the only thing that matters to me. If somehow they turn this around in two years, no one is going to care if it’s Benetti or Monaco or Julie Dicaro announcing the team. Like I said, last straw would be making asinine decisions for actual player personnel. I also wonder if Stoney and Benetti had a falling out. You would think Stoney could have influenced Reinsdorf to keep him around if he really wanted.

Because that’s the type of stupid thing that should cause the ridiculous outrage we’ve seen the last 24 hours, in my opinion.

The last straw for people should be if they trade Montgomery for Salvy.

Speaking of Bernstein, he said that Reinsdorf didn’t like Benetti’s announcing style, and that he didn’t find him funny.

I meant they don’t care anymore, as the Sox have done everything they can to alienate the fan base.

I turn on the Score and immediately hear Holmes saying he won’t go to any Sox games next year now and Parkins say “Benetti is a better broadcaster than Robert is a CF”. The Robert one is possibly the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

I guarantee you he has more value than that. Teams aren’t dumb, they know the Sox suck at coaching up their players. One of the reasons Lynn had more value at the deadline is that exact reason.

Not really, as it’s not like he’s getting paid a ton. These two rumored players are likely going to get a tiny bit less.

Only way they should trade Eloy is if they get good value for him. Athleticism at DH doesn’t matter.
