QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 01:56 AM)
Most managers let their highly regarded pitchers try to go six innings.
This is on Danks ... epic fail!
Don't start your passive aggressive excuse making for Ozzie tonight please.
QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 01:55 AM)
Just taking time to check in from Vegas to say, what a monumental failure John Danks is right now. Thanks for the Javy Vasquez flashbacks!
If it was like Little League and you could only pitch 4 innings, he'd be a star!
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 01:54 AM)
Beating the Yankees 6-5 in the top of the 8th.
You can't look that up yourself?
Making fun of Hawk for scoreboard watching so closely this early in the year.
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 01:53 AM)
Some of it's on Robin. But some seem to believe Danks has this untapped potential that's yet to be realized. Please. He's a #4 starter getting paid #2 starter money.
He's looking more like Mark Buehrle now than he does Jon Lester.
QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 02:50 AM)
great call leaving him in
Ventura's decision making has been less than impressive this year. I can't believe he left Danks in this long.
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 02:50 AM)
Is John Danks the most overpaid #4 starter in baseball?
Too early to tell, but his stuff f***ing sucks this year. He was really bad last year, and he looks worse now than he ever did last year.
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 02:45 AM)
Wait, the White Sox don't put on a shift for Ortiz? That ball went right where the 2b usually shifts. Is it just because of the runners on?
That was really bad fielder placement
QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 02:38 AM)
Notice how he just looked at the sliders and made him come with a fastball...
If we weren't Sox fans and our team was playing the Sox, I guarantee you there'd be 100 posts saying "don't throw him a fastball"
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 01:34 AM)
Don't make me angry...you wouldn't like me when I'm angry....
You can find ways to get him into the lineup. For example, I don't think Bard was a good match-up for Viciedo tonight. Also, getting Alexei lower in the order hopefully breaks up the 3 straight young players in the order we've seen of late.
QUOTE (daggins @ Apr 28, 2012 -> 01:26 AM)
Watching Beckhams AB on game day, saw in play, outs. Thought to myself, based on pitch position and count, thats an infield pop out. Way too predictable.
He looks worse on TV than on game day, trust me.
