And of course, here comes KC. Escobar with his 100th infield hit of the year vs the White Sox.

Gordon swung at a terrible 3-2 pitch

How is that a strike to Beckham when the 1-0 or 2-0 to Perez wasn't?

Fantastic adjustments by Viciedo/Alexei in these ABs

ALEXEI!!

Tank got on that fastball nicely! Made a good adjustment. Hit another double, Alexei

QUOTE (RZZZA @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 01:53 AM) I hope we're all ready for a 1st round exit this year, if we even make it there. Can't beat the Royals, can't beat the Tigers...no chance. That would make the season a huge success. I'd gladly take that.

You get the sense that Hawk doesn't think the Sox are going to make the playoffs.

QUOTE (JoshPR @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 01:51 AM) Once robin waits too to make the change..... Had to let Liriano face the lefty instead of knowing Perez DESTROYS LHP and Jones is better against lefties.

QUOTE (Andy the Clown @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 01:49 AM) Liriano won't be back. He's a mental midget. He's not a mental midget, he just isn't very good anymore.

Just a pathetic outing for Liriano considering he had good command for most of the start.

All three times the Sox scored tonight, Liriano let KC score the next inning.

And KC about to break this game wide open. Sox sure throw Francoeur a lot of fastballs.

QUOTE (RZZZA @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 01:46 AM) Good job. Take a seat. Please don't make him the next Cooper project after this season.

5 of last 6 batters reached, only out was on a good play by Beckham. Cooper should have calmed him down after falling behind 1-0 to the 2nd hitter.

Awful

Last batter for Liriano here?

Swing hard PK, jeez. He seems like such an easy out these days if you get ahead of him in the count.

Mendoza's change-up is the equivalent of Liriano's slider tonight

WISE!

Gotta tie this up before KC goes to Herrera and Holland

Big out there! Nice range by Beckham.

Seems like this is Liriano's last batter if Butler reaches. He was cruising along until that Cain homer.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 01:28 AM) Who would you have hitting 2nd? Its a home game so its unfortunate Youkilis is gone tonight. Why couldn't they induce labor when the Sox were on the road ? I would have gone with Beckham batting 2nd tonight, as I'm still convinced he focuses more in that spot than 9th.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 8, 2012 -> 02:24 AM) A walk and a triple. Keep b****ing. Jose Lopez 0-3 with 3 men LOB
