Wait, now he uses Ramirez??

Going for the PR really early. Hopefully Rios hits a double.

Vulture time!

Away, away, away with every fastball to righties.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 07:59 PM) It's almost as if RV doesn't even know who the hitters on deck and in the hole are whenever we bunt. He keeps bunting and it doesn't work. Meanwhile, Yost didn't bunt in the 9th on Friday and KC has a win to show for it.

Thanks again for the bunt Ventura and this lineup. Olmedo swung at that pitch like he was down in the hole 0-2. Ventura going to bench Alexei the entire game?

And now with the bunt, we need Olmedo to come through. I hate the bunt.

Nice job Lopez! 1st and 3rd them, Gordon

Heck of a performance by BO

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 08:46 PM) Olmedo is far worse Like I said, it's pathetic the Sox even considered calling him up.

Veal time please

QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 08:45 PM) Is Lopez the worst player to wear a Sox uniform in the last 10 years? Olmedo is far worse

He's hanging almost every breaking pitch. He's had better command of his change-up.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 08:42 PM) 10 in a row retired by guthrie JLo will get us started next inning...he'll hit a grounder that Moustakas will throw away

Guthrie making it look easy now. Please sit Viciedo during the Tigers series!! He just doesn't contribute enough on the offensive end against RHP.

Time to score 2 runs this inning

Nice job by Omogrosso (Ventura made the right choice it seems)

I turned to the Bears game expecting there to be a pitching change. I'm stunned he's not using Septimo here.

Whew, got away with some bad pitches. Good job though!

QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 07:27 PM) Are we to assume the Royals will win the division next year based on their play against the Sox and their last series vs. Detroit? Not a chance in hell

Watch out for the hit and run here with Escobar.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 07:25 PM) I'm confused why the bullpen wasn't up if they were letting him start the inning. They were, I thought. Still feels like one of those times they should just let Jones start an inning.

QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 07:24 PM) Get him out of there. I'm quite confused as to why they let him start this inning.

Nice job by Hector, hopefully he won't be in line for the loss after this inning.

Time to bring a reliever in. Can't keep walking the #9 hitter.
