  1. Hey Bud...don't even think of adding another wild card team
  2. Boston fans hate Andino and hate Crawford even more!!
  3. Holliday with a great quote "really appreciate how hard the Phillies played".
  4. Jennings is killing Tampa of late
  5. Sox wanted Logan Morrison, but Marlins were just going to hire Bobby V then http://miamiherald.typepad.com/fish_bytes/...or-guillen.html
  6. You have to be kidding me! This announcer on ESPN has to be the most boring announcer ever.
  7. Oh man, this is getting awesome
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 29, 2011 -> 02:08 AM) Huh? The Yankees are winning. Big. Yeah, the Yanks should have done what they had to in order to get their main rival out of the playoffs (one they know has more talent than the other team that could make it).
  9. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 29, 2011 -> 01:37 AM) Thanks a lot, Yankees, you f***ing jagoffs. Now you just know the Red Sox will go on a ridiculous run in the playoffs. Reminds me of Bears not trying to beat Packers at end of regular season last year.
  10. I honestly can't believe anyone is rooting for Sox to win here. We're not talking moving up/down one spot. Going from possibly 17th pick to 13th is pretty substantial.
  11. Let's face it, if the Tigers go out and sign someone like Reyes and get superior seasons again from Fister/Avila/Peralta...we tip our cap to them. Sox have to win with what they currently have.
  12. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 07:39 PM) Williams said in the Haugh column today that 2012 does not matter. The 2012 lineup should be the least of our concerns. Good, 2012 shouldn't matter. If Dunn and Rios don't turn it around, it's very unlikely any possible moves he could make to improve the team would push the Sox over the top.
  13. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 07:54 PM) Well, it's not Sandy as he's staying on as Acta's bench coach. Now what? Martinez and who? I don't see anywhere that says he's taken his name out from consideration.
  14. QUOTE (DirtySox @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 07:28 PM) Reds lose. No bueno. Go figure...all Sox had to do is lose one game this series.
  15. I bet Beckham's loving getting into double digits for homers.
  16. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 07:10 PM) He's a 60 inning reliever with excellent K numbers. Deal him now, he will not be missed in 2014. For what, another reliever that if we're lucky will be as good as he is in 3 years when Santos is still under our control?
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 07:04 PM) CST_soxvan Daryl Van Schouwen Hawk: This is the most underachieving team I have ever seen Accountability....YES!
  18. QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 07:52 PM) Forgot Carlos Quentin even exists until Farmer and DJ started talking about Stanford. It's amazing how quietly he's going to end his Sox career.
  19. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 06:51 PM) Oops, sorry fathom, must have missed that. How dare you miss that post out of the nearly 3k in this thread!
  20. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 28, 2011 -> 06:48 PM) Totally random by White Sox related... I was watching The Social Network last night because it popped on on Starz, and during the end credits they were showing a commercial for one of their own shows, called "Boss". It's Kelsey Grammer as the mayor of Chicago, and a pretty brutal one at that. Anyway, first scene of the commercial, the guy introducing the mayor at a press conference... Kenny Williams (not an actor, but the actual KW). Thought that was odd. I mentioned this earlier in the thread. Can't wait for more "Kenny "The Genius" Williams" comments.
