Personally, I think Ozzie is a terrible fit with the Marlins. They're a big slugging team with Hanley, Stanton, Morrison, Sanchez and Buck. However, Ozzie will try to play small ball with Bonafacio, Infante etc. and likely take the bat out of his best hitter's hands. Ozzie would have been better with a team with more flexibility and speed.

Buddy Bell is the name that the pro-Ozzie crowd is trying to promote in order to make it sound like "oh no, we'll go with the old guy cause the Sox could never find a solid replacement".

Hawk made a great point about how much of a distraction Ozzie making his desire to have his contract extension during a 5 game win streak for the Sox might have been.
