  1. I'm rooting against Favre and the announcers right now more than anything. BTW, did you see Favre's perfect form in spiking that ball?
  2. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Dec 29, 2009 -> 05:51 AM) of course Robbie Gould chooses now to miss a FG. unf***ing real. Rather he miss that in a game that doesn't matter for the Bears.
  3. Matt Forte's lack of burst this season is amazing. He should have easily picked up the first down on that 3rd down play.
  4. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Dec 29, 2009 -> 04:24 AM) That was fast. I love how the ESPN announcers went silent. Don't sound too devastated lol. It's really pathetic, isn't it?
  5. Wow are these announcers verbally sucking Favre off right now.
  6. QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Dec 28, 2009 -> 08:19 PM) I'm shocked FSU is back in the Top 25. We have looked terrible this year. I hope they can fix the turnovers for the rest of ACC play. You guys are awesome defensively, and will only get better as Hamilton shortens his bench.
  7. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Dec 24, 2009 -> 05:32 AM) It would also help if Mike Davis had a testicular implant. Because he is clearly missing his balls. Bringing in Legion didn't really hurt. He actually had a nice block shot in that stretch towards the end. What killed us was when Bill Cole came back in, lost English who drained a 3 and then English made the prayer on the next possession to seal it. Davis plays like he's a video game character. He just jumps up and down in the same spot he started at. Never drives to the rim, and can't play defense.
  8. BTW, awful coaching by Weber tonight. Illinois had all the momentum when they cut it to 6 points, and he decided to bring in the most unproductive hyped player in history, Alex Legion. The offense really never recovered the rhythm they had.
  9. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 24, 2009 -> 04:25 AM) 2nd horses*** charging call. clearly set and squared. Both teams went to the Duke school of flopping tonight, and it resulted in an aggravating game to watch.
  10. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 24, 2009 -> 04:13 AM) Yep, he's the biggest whiner on the team (if not the big ten). If things don't go his way he's worthless. Tisdale continues to impress. Hopefully Mizzou's shooting comes back to their average and Illinois keeps chugging away. Great point, you could see him lose his composure at about the 5 minute mark in the 2nd half. I still say that basket going to the right on the TV view is screwed up. Two odd missed dunks this half.
  11. Mizzou doing their best to let Illinois back into this game. Nothing like 18 ft contested jumpers 5 seconds into the shot clock.
  12. Anyone watching the Illini/Mizzou game? Something's wrong with the hoop Mizzou is shooting at, as the ball is taking some crazy spins out of the rim. It will be interesting to see if the same rolls continue in the 2nd half going that way.
  13. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Dec 23, 2009 -> 07:20 AM) Fathom, who is logged in under your account? I'm always more optimistic in the offseason
  14. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 23, 2009 -> 07:15 AM) I am glad to hear that. We could use some baseball IQ on this team after the last few years... I think the additions of Pierre and Teahen, as well as the subtraction of Podsednik, is going to have an amazingly positive influence on our baserunning.
  15. QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 23, 2009 -> 05:53 AM) Really? Is there an article stating that somewhere that I could read? They've talked about that a lot on Baseball Tonight, as Teahen has a handful of inside-the-parkers the past few years.
  16. QUOTE (Ranger @ Dec 23, 2009 -> 03:24 AM) I don't think it's accurate to align Quentin and Teahen with the speed of PK/Thome/Dye. Those two guys have much better speed than the other 3. Teahen has average speed and CQ is at least average for a power hitter (as long as he's healthy). The trio of the past is REALLY slow. Teahen's known as the best baserunner in all of baseball.
  17. You absolutely have to fire VDN tonight.
  18. Haha, Salmons' effort on those last two offensive rebounds for Sacramento was comical.
  19. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 22, 2009 -> 03:19 AM) Did the Bulls just blow a nearly 30 pt lead? Oh yes, as VDN continues his race against Lovie to see who can get fired first.
  20. Yes, Bradley basically felt Lee was a sell out for being friends with Dempster, etc.
  21. QUOTE (TitoMB345 @ Dec 21, 2009 -> 02:39 AM) I want this to happen. Whats the chance it does? zero
  22. QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Dec 21, 2009 -> 02:51 AM) That was a very ugly game. We're so hard to watch. Yep, talk about a game where both teams are fantastic on the interior with regards to defense. I wish I could say "oh well, at least this means Hewitt's one step closer to getting fired" but that's never going to happen.
  23. QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 21, 2009 -> 02:43 AM) fathom, what's up with Shumpert? Knee surgery, should be back in 3 weeks. It's hampered his play all season.
  24. It's going to get worse for the Bears before it gets better. Forte continues to have just a nightmare season.
  25. Supposedly Bradley really disliked D. Lee last season because he felt that D. Lee hung out too much with the white players on the Cubs.
