  1. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Apr 13, 2009 -> 02:51 AM) The IBB on Beckham was probably conceding the game. Loading the bases with no outs in a tie game...there was a steady, moderately heavy rain throughout the second half of the game. A win's a win though. To be fair, Beckham's error wasn't all his fault. Allen fielded the grounder, made a high throw to second, Beckham had to leap and catch it and throw it back to Allen. He couldn't get much on the throw, so it bounced and got passed Allen. Not much else to say, it would be nice if the starters would not spot the opposition runs and hope the bullpen holds. But, the point is the bullpen is solid. Although I wouldn't hold out much hope for Jhonny Nunez. He hasn't been very impressive. Good to see Shelby III starting to get comfortable. I greatly appreciate the live updates. Sounds like you get to see some exciting players. Couldn't agree more about Nunez...it's really disappointing the overall package we got for Swisher.
  2. 4th runner walked in during the inning. It must suck being a Brewers fan, besides for Gallardo, there's just horrible, horrible pitchers on the roster. Reed Johnson with a fantastic catch to rob Fielder of a grand slam. He does an amazing job off the bench for the Cubs.
  3. Suppan just walked in 3 guys in an inning. I don't know if I've ever seen that.
  4. It took 6 games for Milton Bradley to get injured. The Jeff Suppan signing was just brutal by Milwaukee.
  5. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Apr 12, 2009 -> 08:33 PM) Bobby. Thats all. Ok, what the hell is that picture of?
  6. QUOTE (Soxpranos @ Apr 12, 2009 -> 09:30 PM) He's looked like crap last 2 times out. He's aiming the crap out of the ball, which destroys his velocity.
  7. If Jenks throws Crede any fastballs over the plate, he should be demoted.
  8. Seriously, get him out of the freaking game. He should have never faced Cuddyer. One batter away from the tying run to the plate.
  9. QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Apr 12, 2009 -> 09:10 PM) What exactly did the Mets give up to land Santana? Gomez, Humber, Guerra
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 12, 2009 -> 09:02 PM) Some repeated bench-emptying in Anaheim. Hunter probably has a suspension coming. What happened?
  11. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 12, 2009 -> 09:00 PM) Why put Lillibridge in for Getz? Did he get hurt? Yes, HBP right on the elbow.
  12. QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Apr 12, 2009 -> 07:48 PM) Dotel has been filthy this year. 9 of his 10 outs have been strike outs.
  13. Wow, this umpire has been atrocious. Of course, we're making Crede look like Brian Giles at the plate.
  14. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 12, 2009 -> 07:20 PM) Those were some pretty hittable pitches there. Just a tad long on the swing there Josh. He's still shown no ability to hit a good fastball on the inner half.
