  1. I'm not sure if Jose is tired, but he seems to have lost the crispness he had earlier in the game.
  2. That's a play that has to be made. I can't believe they gave that a hit, as it took a perfect hop. Uribe makes that play in his sleep.
  3. I've noticed Jose's velocity has dropped about 3 mph this inning.
  4. QUOTE (G&T @ May 21, 2008 -> 01:27 AM) These run downs are comical, but at least they got the out. OC seems to throw the ball too early, but it's good to at least chase them back to the lesser base.
  5. QUOTE (daa84 @ May 21, 2008 -> 02:27 AM) a couple days ago i was split as to which i wanted should the bulls get the #1...i ended up saying rose, but i knew it wouldnt ever happen...well now that it happened...i think i want beasley.....i would be slightly concerned about rose's jump shot....hes athletic no doubt and will be a plus defender...on the other hand beasley is probably poor defensively, but hes gonna rebound and hes gonna score no doubt about it...7'0'' wing span, ambidexterous, can score from anywhere on the floor....its a tough decision ...rose is a virtual lock, beasley has more upside and a bit more risk, but still low enough risk for it to be worth it IMO It's so hard to decide, so why not just take Shan Foster?
  6. QUOTE (Gregory Pratt @ May 21, 2008 -> 01:25 AM) Do any other broadcasters whine about the umpires as much as these guys? Probably not, but this time it's actually justified.
  7. Ugh, Indians threatening to tie the game up.
  8. Does Swisher have any power from the right side?
  9. The fact he screwed us on the 1-2 pitch to Sizemore is what really hurts.
  10. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ May 21, 2008 -> 01:20 AM) Getting tossed in a close game is not a smart move. Now we drop our defense down quite a bit at 3rd. I was thinking the same thing....but who knows with Crede's defense anymore. I will say this...if the Sox lose, I think the called 3rd on Crede in the 2nd inning was the turning point.
  11. Nice eye by PK...he seems more confident at the dish.
  12. CNN proclaims Obama the pledged delegate winner.
  13. QUOTE (Brian @ May 21, 2008 -> 01:11 AM) Not me, and I hope not. The only person that I know who still likes him is Hammerhead Johnson.
  14. QUOTE (Brian @ May 21, 2008 -> 02:07 AM) Question, if it were the other way around, with Hillary in front and Obama trailing with a slim chance to win, would Barack have conceded by now? The scariest thing is sometimes I think Hillary is thinking maybe something "bad" will happen to Obama. I do know for a fact that the Secret Service is very, very concerned about this.
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ May 21, 2008 -> 01:59 AM) Cy Dempster at it again. The Bourn for Lidge trade was just awful by the Astros. Poof!
  16. Not that anyone cares, but Pence just hit a slam off of Cy Dempster (my jinx worked). I chuckle seeing Blum bat at Houston though.
  17. Does anyone really believe Ben Gordon will be back?
  18. Hillary going to win by 250,000 in Kentucky. All we'll hear about is the popular vote now.
  19. Cy Dempster at it again. The Bourn for Lidge trade was just awful by the Astros.
  20. Too easy...can Francisco now.
  21. f*** that, that was a strike to Crede.
  22. Walk Sizemore, and go after Francisco.
  23. QUOTE (Brian @ May 21, 2008 -> 01:51 AM) Would of been a DP if Count lets it go. It was hit hard...probably up the middle for a hit. Contreras needs to throw that forkball when he's up in the count.
  24. Ugh, #7 and 8 hitters with infield singles. Not a good recipe for holding down the Indians with Sizemore in the leadoff spot.
