Someone please get Swisher a new supply of bats. If that doesn't tell him he needs to stay back on the pitch, I don't know what will.

MIN (16-14, W5) @ CWS (14-16, L6), 7:11pm
Floyd will be very lucky to get out of this inning without a run scoring.

That's a pitch that PK would have demolished in the past.

Nice job by Floyd getting us back in the dugout after we scored.

QUOTE (Gene Honda Civic @ May 6, 2008 -> 10:07 PM) ORLY? He's hit .242/.270/.348 against LHP since July 1st '06 -- 22 months of sustained suckitude. Compared to RHP, I assume those numbers are much better?

Ugh, bad call by the umpire. I can see why he didn't think he got the base though.

It took Hawk 3 batters to complain about the umpiring.

Going to be a long night if Floyd can't command anything.

White Sox Clubhouse and Sex Dolls
While I don't think it's a big deal at all, I hope these guys aren't so dense that they didn't expect this to become a big story. Between Ozzie's rant and this, they've done a great job of trying to make people forget about the losing streak.

"The Reaper is a-coming, kids."
I must be the only one who's not excited that Uribe is going to be released. If we had a suitable replacement, that would be fine. However, seeing Ozuna and Ramirez there for another month isn't exactly an upgrade.

It would only be fitting if Uribe was canned after getting 2 hits.

In Season Constructive Changes
Nothing really. 2nd base is the only possible spot to upgrade, and I really hope they don't get Brian Roberts. As Boers and Bernstein frequently say, KW signed up for the same offensive structure as last year when he re-signed Dye, and decided to keep the 3/4/5/6 all together. I won't even go into how pathetic OC is.

White Sox Loser
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 6, 2008 -> 01:51 AM) Pablo has to hit there, because there was literally NO ONE on the bench at that point. Crede is technically available, but he was hurting bad enough that he wasn't even in the dugout. Which brings up the question I asked 5 days ago... why the hell did they bring up Russell instead of Getz/Bourgeois/Owens? or that Josh Fields character.
